Our edition of “It’s Just Us” on January 1 to kick off another lap around the Sun was just another day when, over the course of a couple of hours of music online, I got to look into a bunch of smiling faces. No kidding. It’s a feeling that is really hard to describe. All I can say is… “Thank you, again.”
During the week we’ve been getting together LIVE with sweet, fun people from all across the country and in different parts of the world. We started doing it during the pandemic, but it’s so much fun and we’ve made so many wonderful friends that we’re gonna keep it going. Just taking a little break to start the new year. I’ll let you know when we’ll be back.

I’m enJoying a sense of possibility again. It feels like the tumblers are clicking into place and a lock is about to open to a bright future for one of my stage plays. As a playwright… it’s exciting. We’ll see.

Last year, during the height of the pandemic, we enjoyed a LIVE reading of my new play “JACK FLEW”.
We put together a magnificent theatrical experiment and a lot of were a part of it… maybe the most important part. The audience. I assembled a cast of Tony Award winners, veteran actors, exciting newcomers… just incredible artists to take a run at this audacious script.
Many of you know I’ve been making a transition from a Life as a songwriter to a career as a playwright. I feels like the time is right to sit in the dark with you guys and allow my characters to help hasten the day that “religion” becomes a memory for the human race. A percentage of my work is always dedicated to that goal… but I have my own fun way of making it a reality one day.
To that end, last year we also did an online reading of my newest script “THE GREEN ROOM”. It’s a play that made its debut in Louisville, Kentucky. Gonna be excited to see it also make its way to Broadway.
Hopefully these scripts will soon find a Creative champion to move them, and kick the door open for a few other plays and musicals. I’ll let you all know!!!
After the readings each night we’ll all retreated back to my Facebook page for comments and discussion. It was very cool.
We All Create Together
Even though our entire season in Central Park was canceled in 2020… we got out to “The Hill” in July of last year. And hopefully we’ll make some new and exciting things happen in 2022.

I’m still living this Life with open arms and Love, but ZERO tolerance for people who voted for or continue to support the abomination that is TRUMPISM. As my song says, “I hope they feel like joining us someday.” But until that day, the rest of us have work to do!!!
