Sure, time is a human construct. It is also a concept that human beings aren’t even close to being able to comprehend. But we try to mark it anyway… to make sense of eternity. So what the hell! I’ll play along!

I’m still living this Life with open arms and Love, but ZERO tolerance for people who voted for or continue to support the abomination that is Donald J Trump. As my new song says, “I hope they feel like joining us someday.” But until that day, the rest of us have work to do!!!

As dark as this year often felt in the midst of the “Trump Nightmare”, we found a way to share music and laughs, special moments and Love with each other. Even though I’m an unapologetic and devoutly un-religious person, I’m taking the whole day today to let go and do some work in cooperation with our pal Santa Claus. He’s one of “The Good Guys”. (The real one…. not that character in the animated “Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer”. That Santa Claus was kind of a self-centered shit.) I’m hoping, for every one of you reading this, that the next lap around the Sun is the most amazing one so far for you, filled with passion, purpose, joy, growth… and Love.

THANKS FOR YESTERDAY

I had a great time hangin’ out with all of you online yesterday. “The Weekly Show” really feels good… like a pretty special thing we get to do in the off-season.

I won’t be joining you today because I’m hangin’ with one of my 4 beautiful sisters in Brooklyn. (Just a little holiday thing we’re gonna do.) But we have 2 more editions of “The Weekly Show” before the end on 2018. I’ll see you guys both Saturday and Sunday next weekend.

I posted this a while back. Just a somebody who was on the set of this spectacularly perfect version of the Dickens Classic… “A Christmas Carol”. One night about 30 years ago, when I was a drunk as a sailor at about 3 in the morning, I noticed a stagehand or somebody in the mirror of this scene!!!

I was blind drunk the first time a saw this guy in the mirror!

Today, I find myself sitting on top of 3 incredible Creative projects that seem to be exploding into the world as I’m writing this: the new play “The Green Room” – the video for the song “Dreamers Like Me” – and the Creation of a NEW MUSICAL… which is the off-spring of the workshopped musical “Possibility Junkie”.

I’m still living this Life with open arms and Love, but ZERO tolerance for people who voted for or continue to support the abomination that is Donald J Trump. As my new song says, “I hope they feel like joining us someday.” But until that day, the rest of us have work to do!!!

In person and online… it’s been a fascinating year!

Every year we get together for “The Something’th Annual Year End Concert”. We had a blast on December 8.

We hang out on Saturday and Sunday in the chat room of “The Weekly Show”. We had a great time again last weekend and we’ll do it again this coming weekend.
