Hey guys… this is the forecast for this coming weekend.
So it looks like another “typically amazing” year in Central Park has come to an end.
I love you guys.
And I really need to take a moment to say…
No kidding. I know this year was particularly challenging with all the rain on the weekends. (Doesn’t help my financial situation either!!!) But I always hafta come back to say to myself and ask, “David, pay attention. Who gets to be That Guitar Man from Central Park? Who gets to do what you do in the middle of the most amazing city on the planet? Who gets to share his music and stories, share laughs and thoughts and feelings… who get to share himself with so many thousands of sweet beautiful people in one year?”
When the answer comes back and I remember that it’s me…
Damn! I’m a lucky man.
SO NOW! LET’S GET TOGETHER FOR ONE MORE REALLY FUN NIGHT THIS YEAR!!!

This year the gig is gonna be something special for so many reasons. Teresa Reynolds will be flying in from Indiana. George Wurzbach, Chris Tedesco and Dan Paccione are excited to get on the stage. Our drummer, Ryan Cavan, will be flying down from Buffalo. WE’RE GETTIN’ THE BAND BACK TOGETHER!!!

Today, I find myself sitting on top of 3 incredible Creative projects that seem to be exploding into the world as I’m writing this: the new play “The Green Room” – the video for the song “Dreamers Like Me” – and the Creation of a NEW MUSICAL… which is the off-spring of the workshopped musical “Possibility Junkie”.
I’m still living this Life with open arms and Love, but ZERO tolerance for people who voted for or continue to support the abomination that is Donald J Trump. As my new song says, “I hope they feel like joining us someday.” But until that day, the rest of us have work to do!!!
