LIVE on “The Weekly Show”
Listen, we’re all gonna get together here in New York City… in person… on Saturday, April 7th for an evening I’m calling “Dreamers Like Me”. But it might have just evolved into something even more exciting. Tell you about it online today.
I’ll be LIVE at 4:00 (eastern)
People have been hangin’ out with us in the chat room from all over… Willie in Maine, Jana in New York City, Lucy and Al in West Virginia, Henner in Germany, Menni in Amsterdam, Angelique in The Netherlands, Dave in Ohio. We all introduce ourselves, and then share some music and laughs.
Gonna be fun. If you’ve never hung out with us “online”… try it this weekend. Just sit at your computer or device and hang out with people from New York City, from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. (I’ll bring the guitar.)
4:00 eastern — 3:00 central — 2:00 mountain — 1:00 pacific
There’s a chat room so you can make requests or just chat with the other people hanging out! All you hafta do is log-in and join us. Go to the Concert Window and set it up right now, okay? (Don’t be spooked by the “credit card” thing. We’ve been doing this for over a year. It’s safe and it really, really does cost you as little or a much as you wanna pay. Whatever you want.)
And we’ll chat about…
The concert on April 7!
We’ll all be LIVE together in less than a month. If you haven’t gotten your tickets for the concert on Saturday, April 7 you might wanna do that today or tomorrow. The Leonard Nimoy Thalia on Broadway is less than half the size of Merkin Concert Hall, and the tickets will go pretty fast for this thing. It’s gonna be a fun night.
You can ALSO let the government pay for your “reserved” seat! Y’see… The Leonard Nimoy Thalia is a “general admission” venue. All the seats are the same price ($35) and the audience sits wherever they want, first-come-first-serve. But if you wanna actually help produce this concert, there will be a seat with your name on it that night. And, if you really wanna help… well… watch the video below!!!
(A donation — it’s tax-deductible!!! So the government will pay for your evening!!!)

HOPE I SEE YOU ON APRIL 7th

FIRST PHOTOS FROM THE Last GIG…
THERE’S MORE VIDEO FROM THE CONCERT ALL UP AND DOWN MY FACEBOOK PAGE RIGHT NOW! I’ll be posting some more really soon. But photographer David Hayase was the first to get his photos into the website from this year’s concert. So here’s a handful.
I’ll be back with more video soon!
AND! THE SEASON IN CENTRAL PARK was also amazing.
Here are a few shots from another weekend.
If YOU have any photos or video from this past summer, please shoot them to me on Facebook, okay?
Thank YOU for showing up. If you’re new around here… WELCOME! If you don’t follow me on Facebook, go there now and then keep checking back.
Today, I find myself sitting on top of 3 incredible Creative projects that seem to be exploding into the world as I’m writing this: the new play “The Green Room” – the video for the song “Dreamers Like Me” – and the Creation of a NEW MUSICAL… which is the off-spring of the workshopped musical “Possibility Junkie”.
I’m still living this Life with open arms and Love, but ZERO tolerance for people who voted for or continue to support the abomination that is Donald J Trump. As my new song says, “I hope they feel like joining us someday.” But until that day, the rest of us have work to do!!!
There’s always lots of really current and fun stuff on FACEBOOK, too. You can send a friend request and join me over there: https://www.facebook.com/david.thatguitarman
Thanks so much for hangin’ out.
