And I’ll be back with a special message!
Well… that’s a wrap!
We put a nice bow on the 2017 season this weekend. I’m gonna be back here at the site and on Facebook with a special message in the next day or two. But for now, please just accept my deepest heartfelt “Thanks” for another “typically amazing” year as “That Guitar Man from Central Park”. I’m such a lucky man.
On Saturday, we laughed, we sang, we danced… we even shed a couple of tears together. But it was all beautiful. Our good friends, the photographers David Hayase and Sean Friedman were both out there in the park with their camera, so I’ll be back with some of the moments they captured. But for now, I just really need to say THANKS!!!
Now… THE NEXT TIME we get together will be indoors, in that beautiful 500-seat theater near Lincoln Center. Maybe you oughta start thinking about calling a few friends and making plans to come to…
YEAH!!! The tickets are already on sale. Do you believe it? This year flew! But this is the first time we’ll get together with the whole band in this insane Trump Era. So it will be a much need night for everybody… including me! Hope you feel like joining us!
Click on the banner for tickets.
OR CALL the box office: 212-501-3330
This gig will be on us before you know it. So, call a few friends and grab the seats you guys want.
OKAY — there’s lots of fun stuff further down the page. But before I get to anything else… let’s share this song!!! Thanks for singing it with me in the park, but please share the link for the video with everyone you know.
I need YOU to share it all across the country and around the world. Share it on Facebook. Share it on Twitter and Instagram. Share it with your neighbors and friends.
Here are some images from other weekends.
Here are a few shots from another weekend.
If YOU have any photos or video from this past Saturday, please shoot them to me on Facebook, okay?

Thank YOU for showing up. If you’re new around here… WELCOME! If you don’t follow me on Facebook, go there now and then keep checking back.

I know. I know. For reasonable, sane people this has been a tough year. But we’re in it together and we have work to do. Today I’m gonna share a feel good video from last year’s “Year End Concert” at Merkin Concert Hall here in New York City.
First, the concert video…
Today, I find myself sitting on top of 3 incredible Creative projects that seem to be exploding into the world as I’m writing this: the new play “The Green Room” – the video for the song “Dreamers Like Me” – and the Creation of a NEW MUSICAL… which is the off-spring of the workshopped musical “Possibility Junkie”.
Here are a few images from the recent concert, captured by our photographers friends David Hayase and Sean Friedman.
I’m still living this Life with open arms and Love, but ZERO tolerance for people who voted for or continue to support the abomination that is Donald J Trump. As the song says, “I hope they feel like joining us someday.” but until that day, the rest of us have work to do!!!
ROCK ON!
We plan on releasing at least 2 different versions of this song..
There’s always lots of really current and fun stuff on FACEBOOK, too. You can send a friend request and join me over there: https://www.facebook.com/david.thatguitarman
Cool?
Thanks so much for hangin’ out.
