TOMORROW…

BE A PART OF SOMETHING SPECIAL!

Hey guys… okay… here we go again. Looking like rain in the morning tomorrow. But then it looks like we’re gonna have a beautiful afternoon. That means it’s probably best if you check back in the morning, here or on Facebook, to see when I’ll be heading out to “The Hill” with my guitar. Right now it’s looking like I’ll start at the usual time… probably crank up around 1:00 and play until 5:30 or 6:00. (Or until I fall over.)

I’m thinking we’re gonna have a beautiful afternoon tomorrow with the Sun peeking through some high clouds and a gentle breeze blowing. BUT!!! I have a new project in the works and if YOU head out to the park tomorrow you will be a really important part of it. So if you’re in or around New York City, I hope I see you out there!

Here’s a map to show you exactly where!

The project? A new song and video and I am really gonna try to get it out to the world… sooner than later. Be in it! Be a part of making it happen!

Got a feeling we’re gonna have another “typically amazing” day. It’s what usually happens. I mean, over the course of an afternoon a few thousand people gather on that little grassy hill to share music and laughs, stories and thoughts and feelings… hundreds of New Yorkers, and people from all across the country and different parts of the world. Often, DANCING BREAKS OUT!!! I mean… dancing spontaneously breaks out on the path, Pure joy. Now, I have been “That Guitar Man from Central Park” for over 25 years now. It’s something that continues to keep me in a nearly constant state of amazement and gratitude.

If YOU have any photos or video from other Saturdays, please shoot them to me on Facebook, okay?

OH!!! By the way… I am raising money again for the “Permit Fund”. It’s just something I do every year if you feel like being a part of the gig and helping to take care of some of the overhead involved in getting out to Central Park on Saturdays throughout the summer. All of the permit fees are paid for… the Special Events Permits and the Sound Device Permits from the NYPD. But… if you think you would like to help out in that regard, every year I do a little something called the “Permit Fund”. (It’s only there if you can afford to help and if you feel like it.)

MAYBE WE’LL HAFTA REVIVE THIS SONG FOR THE SUMMER!!!

Remember… this is the first summer of “The Trump Nightmare”.

And thank YOU for showing up here today. If you’re new around here… WELCOME! If you don’t follow me on Facebook, go there now and then keep checking back.

It’s come to my attention that a lot of people are visiting this website for the first time, just because of a few other things that are happening in my Creative Life as an artist. So I just wanna welcome you…

I know. I know. For reasonable, sane people this is another tough week. But we’re in it together and we have work to do. Today I’m gonna share a feel good video from our “Year End Concert” at Merkin Concert Hall here in New York City last December.

First, the concert video…

Today, I find myself sitting on top of 3 incredible Creative projects that seem to be exploding into the world as I’m writing this: the new play “The Green Room” – the video for the song “Dreamers Like Me” – and the Creation of a NEW MUSICAL… which is the off-spring of the workshopped musical “Possibility Junkie”.

Here are a few images from the recent concert, captured by our photographers friends David Hayase and Sean Friedman.

I’m still living this Life with open arms and Love, but ZERO tolerance for people who voted for or continue to support the abomination that is Donald J Trump. AI wrote a brand new song that says, “I hope they feel like joining us someday.” But until that day, the rest of us have work to do!!!

ROCK ON!

There’s always lots of really current and fun stuff on FACEBOOK, too. You can send a friend request and join me over there: https://www.facebook.com/david.thatguitarman

Cool?

Thanks so much for hangin’ out.
