“The Weekly Show” is the second best thing to actually being in Central Park. I mean, look at all the smiling faces. Thousands over the course of the day. Everybody singing… and dancing.

And we turn the path into a dance floor.

THEN NEXT WEEKEND… for all of you in different parts of the country and different parts of the world and because we were denied our permit… again… we’ll do 2 Special Editions of “The Weekly Show”.

It’s that time again!

I submitted all the paperwork and paid all the fees for our summer season in Central Park… for every weekend rain or shine, whether the issue our permit or deny it. So… IT’S ON!

Now, if you want to feel like a part of what we do in a very real, very practical way and you want to help out by throwing as little or as much as you want at the 2019 PERMIT FUND.

We ended 2018 together at Merkin Concert Hall. I got to share the stage again with some of the most extraordinarily talented artists, finest musicians and most beautiful people I know… Teresa Reynolds, George Wurzbach, Chris Tedesco, Dan Paccione and Ryan Cavan.

Today, I find myself sitting on top of 3 incredible Creative projects that seem to be exploding into the world as I’m writing this: the new play “The Green Room” – the video for the song “Dreamers Like Me” – and the Creation of a NEW MUSICAL… which is the off-spring of the workshopped musical “Possibility Junkie”.

I’m still living this Life with open arms and Love, but ZERO tolerance for people who voted for or continue to support the abomination that is Donald J Trump. As my new song says, “I hope they feel like joining us someday.” But until that day, the rest of us have work to do!!!

Last weekend — The Weekly Show!

This coming Saturday…

CENTRAL PARK!

The Parks Department denied our permit this weekend… again. But we did what people like us do — take a sucky situation and turn it into something really fun. Two days LIVE online.

But we have the paperwork to head back to “The Hill” next Saturday. So if you’re in New York City, I hope I see you out there. Here are a few moments from the last time we were there!!!

Today, I find myself sitting on top of 3 incredible Creative projects that seem to be exploding into the world as I’m writing this: the new play “The Green Room” – the video for the song “Dreamers Like Me” – and the Creation of a NEW MUSICAL… which is the off-spring of the workshopped musical “Possibility Junkie”.

I’m still living this Life with open arms and Love, but ZERO tolerance for people who voted for or continue to support the abomination that is Donald J Trump. As my new song says, “I hope they feel like joining us someday.” But until that day, the rest of us have work to do!!!

The Parks Department denied our permit… again. But we’ll do what people like us do — take a sucky situation and turn it into something really fun. Even as I make the transition to a career as a playwright, I’m so excited to be able to share my music and time with all of you LIVE online. So…

No matter where you you are in the country or the world, you can hang with us. Y’know, over this off-season we hung out “online” with fun people from all over New York City, California, Missouri, Montana, Florida, Indiana, West Virginia, The UK, Maine, Georgia, The Netherlands, Croatia, Spain, Slovakia, Ohio, Michigan, Germany… even New Jersey.

THEN SUNDAY WE’LL GO LIVE AT 4:00 (eastern)

Last weekend in CENTRAL PARK was… well… THANK YOU!

And we turned the path into a dance floor again.

OH HEY!!!

It’s that time again!

I submitted all the paperwork and paid all the fees for our summer season in Central Park… for every weekend rain or shine, whether the issue our permit or deny it. So… IT’S ON!

Now, if you want to feel like a part of what we do in a very real, very practical way and you want to help out by throwing as little or as much as you want at the 2019 PERMIT FUND.

We ended 2018 together at Merkin Concert Hall. I got to share the stage again with some of the most extraordinarily talented artists, finest musicians and most beautiful people I know… Teresa Reynolds, George Wirzbach, Chris Tedesco, Dan Paccione and Ryan Cavan.

A wonderful Saturday in CENTRAL PARK…

…and LIVE online on Sunday!

I’ll be back here and on Facebook with more photos this week. I love doing the singer/songwriter thing. Even as I make the transition to a career as a playwright, I’m so excited to be doing what I get to do in Central Park. I’m SUCH a lucky man.

We did it again. BOTH Saturday in Central Park… and Sunday LIVE online.

I got to spend another day doing what I love with a guitar and a whole lotta sweet people with smiling faces. Thousands over the course of the day. Everybody singing…

And we turned the path into a dance floor again.

Next weekend we’ll hang out LIVE online!!!

We were denied our permit to share music in the park next Saturday… so I’ll fire up the live stream and we’ll hang out for a couple of hours at a special time.

TODAY  we hang together LIVE online… THE WEEKLY SHOW!!!

Yesterday in Central Park. People singing. People dancing. People smiling. People from all across the country and around the world singing the same songs… and the only people who didn’t have a wonderful,fun, beautiful afternoon were Trump supporters. All cool. I have NO problem with that!
