    In My Arms This Christmas
Music and Lyrics by David Ippolito

The fire is not as warm as it should be.
And the night is much too silent this year.
And there's no reason to go,
To Central Park in the snow,
You're not in my arms this Christmas.

This whole city is not as pretty as it should be.
It would sparkle like the stars if you were here.
And, all the colored lights down Broadway,
Just don't shine the same way,
You're not in my arms this Christmas.

Just missing us kissing outside in the cold.
We would keep each other warm with just a smile.
But now, my aching heart's breaking,
With the thought of waking up
Christmas morning without you beside me

This season there's no reason for trimming a tree.
There's no angel in my life if you're not there.
There'll be no candles glowing, no mistletoe-ing
    Miles between us, knowing
We should be Christmas Eve-ing together.

But, Christmas night will be exciting as it should be
'Cause the fire will burn brightly when you're near.
And hand in hand we'll both go
Through Central Park in the snow
When you're in my arms next Christmas.

    Please be in my arms...
