For newcomers, here's a little Photo Gallery from this past Summer. Very cool. Maybe you're in there!

Listen, there might be a little confusion about our next night together
Yes... NIGHT together.
I started getting lots of email telling me that the ticket links were broken. Then I checked the theater listings and our concert was missing. Seems the people over at Symphony Space and The Leonard Nimoy Thalia, the venue of our next gig, had a server catastrophe on their website. They temporarily lost almost everything, all the upcoming listings. BUT -- after I was told they were reconstructing the calendar and the links, I received another email telling me that the concert was listed at 2:30 in the afternoon.
NO, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no...
The start time is 7:30 in the evening on Saturday, March 3.
Okay?
(I'm hoping they get it all straightened out today sometime.)
.
By this weekend I will have the very first update about the number of tickets that are still available for the next concert. That's gonna be a special kinda night, because I'm gonna do something that an awful lot of you have been asking for over the past year or so... a completely solo night of just me, a guitar, a handful of stories and a whole bunch of songs.
I'm sure there are a LOT of seats still available. I mean, we're still about 8 weeks out from the gig. But this place is a much smaller venue than Merkin Concert Hall. So if you think you'd like to make a few calls and invite a few friends... plan on grabbing tickets a little sooner than later, okay?

We all know what "general admission" means when we're talkin' about a concert. It means the box office just sells unassigned seats. You buy a ticket and that means you're gonna get in the theater. Where you sit depends on when you get there. No big deal.
But general admission is rrreeeeaaallllyyy not a big deal in a sweet little venue like The Leonard Nimoy Thalia. If you've ever been to one of my gigs in that venue, you know what I'm talkin' about. It's a really intimate little theater space. There literally is not a bad seat in the house.
I hung out a little bit with my buddy Dean last week and asked if he could get a few more moments from the December concert edited down to be ready for you guys to watch on Youtube and here at the site. As soon as he gets some of those clips to me, I can work on the audio tracks and we'll have 'em here at the site. Some really fun shit. So keep checking back.
Besides the gig in the first week of March, we've got sooooo many really cool ideas and plans for 2012. Like this one possibility as explained by Broadway legend Tony Walton and his wife.

And then there's the new webseries being produced by my pal, Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Dean Love.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
