I'm gonna ask you guys for a response... I wanna hear what you think and how you feel. And then I'll post a bunch of your comments here on the website later in the week.
BUT FIRST -- as always, I wanna thank every single one of you for showing up here every day. It's a very cool thing to be a songwriter who lives in the most exciting in the world, but gets to stay in touch with beautiful people all across the country and in different parts of the world.
Are you using Facebook on a daily basis? Or are you one of those people who really, really dislikes Facebook?
Do you go there more than you stop here?
When you get a message from me that says I'm posting new video or a new song or something to download for FREE, would you find it easier on Facebook?
Have you joined the Facebook Page that is supposed to be the one I'm using for my music and videos and stuff? And do you think I oughta start updating that page more instead of my personal profile?
Will you join this page and share it with friends of yours?

Should I put content out on BOTH!?
No, seriously... let me know. 'Cause I'm thinkin' that I'm gonna start focusing on that page. I have a feeling there are many more people around the world who check that page a lot more than the local website here in town. If you join that page, I guess you'll get the same video and free songs there as you get here, right?
WHAT THE HELL AM I TALKIN' ABOUT!?
Okay... shoot me an email and let me know what you guys think.
THANKS AGAIN FOR A GREAT "OUTDOOR SEASON" LAST YEAR. For newcomers, here's a little Photo Gallery from this past Summer. Very cool. Maybe you're in there!

All the permit applications have been filed and all of the fees have been sent in for 2012, so I'm thinkin' we're all set for the Spring. But before we get there, we've got a few more indoor events comin' up. the first on is on Saturday night, March 3... about 8 weeks away.
OKAY THE NEXT GIG!
I'm gonna stop by the box office later this week to see how the tickets sales are going. So, I'll let you guys know. I know we're still about 8 weeks out from the concert, but as opposed to the December concert which was in a 500-seat venue, this next gig is gonna be at The Leonard Nimoy Thalia on Broadway here in New York, which only seats about 150.
Why such a small venue?
There's a good reason for that. This gig is gonna be a bit different than anything I've done in a in a long while. This is gonna be a completely solo, acoustic night of songs and stories. I'm gonna hang with you guys for an intimate theater and we'll just see where it goes. I think I'll play a whole bunch of songs I haven't played in a long time, and a few brand new songs nobody's ever heard before.
I hung out a little bit with my buddy Dean last week and asked if he could get a few more moments from the December concert edited down to be ready for you guys to watch on Youtube and here at the site. As soon as he gets some of those clips to me, I can work on the audio tracks and we'll have 'em here at the site. Some really fun shit. So keep checking back.
Besides the gig in the first week of March, we've got sooooo many really cool ideas and plans for 2012. Like this one possibility as explained by Broadway legend Tony Walton and his wife.

And then there's the new webseries being produced by my pal, Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Dean Love.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
