Hey listen... welcome to all of you who check in here every day from across the country and different parts of the world. This next bit of news is really of all of you here in New York City... or anyone who will be in NYC the first week of March.
I went down to the box office at The Leonard Nimoy Thalia yesterday.
Broadway @ 95th Street
They finally fixed all of the website problems they were having with the listings for the upcoming shows and events in that beautiful little venue. I was told that throughout the entire situation, the ticket sales at the box office were never affected. So I can report to you today that although they've been selling since day one, there are still a bunch of tickets left for the gig in 7 weeks. And since the concert is "general admission" there isn't a bad seat in that house!
But still... I'm feeling 2 things: That this is gonna be a very special and different kind of night than the last BIG show at Merkin Concert Hall... and that this one is probably gonna sell out early.
So, you might wanna think about grabbing tickets sooner than later. Of course as I always try to do, I'll give you an exact update about ticket availability as the concert gets closer.

Or call the box office directly if you'd rather speak to a human being.
Besides the gig in the first week of March, we've got sooooo many really cool ideas and plans for 2012. Like this one possibility as explained by Broadway legend Tony Walton and his wife.

And then there's the new webseries being produced by my pal, Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Dean Love.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
