And as always, thanks to every single one of you who shared even one afternoon with me in Central Park this year... and all of you in different parts of the country and different parts of the world who show up here every day!

Wrapping up another year.

And what a year! Seriously... I've been having a couple of days when I've been up to my bottom lip in work... work that is all about Creating the next thing. It's what people like me hafta do. It's just how we're wired.

We're dreamers.

We imagine something beautiful, or something thought-provoking, or something fun, or something sexy, or something funny, or something that might make a difference for the better in this world... and then we've gotta try to create it! Some of us use music. Some use video. Some use a paintbrush or clay. Some use the written and spoken word.

Yeah, it's how many of us try to make a living. But it's never about the money. If our hearts are in the right place, it's not about money or personal fame. It's just that... we gotta do what we know we're meant to do.

Ha!

I've been watching the circus that is the Republican primary race for the presidency, and it inspired me to spend nearly all day yesterday on this illustration.

Feel free to copy it and paste it, to send the link all over the country. Re-post the image on your Facebook page if you're so inclined. It's yours to do with as you wish! Have fun starting the conversation. Have fun getting in the sandbox with the other kids!

What a great "outdoor" season we had this year. This was year #20 in Central Park. And we also saw the end of "The Sunset Concert Series" in The Village... which was absolutely cool with me, because I learned about the appalling lack of character in some of the people running Hudson River Park. (Actually, maybe I should dedicate the song "There Will Always Be People" to Mr. David Katz. The song was a hit at the concert and wouldn't have been written if he wasn't such a dweeb.)

But to the people in Central Park and the people who hung with me during those sunset concerts downtown... THANK YOU!

CHECK BACK ALL THIS WEEK FOR VIDEO FROM THE CONCERT -- including the new songs "There Will Always Be People".

For you guys again today... "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" is here for you to watch. Go make a pot of coffee. Pour yourself some tea or a nice glass of wine and sit back and watch this thing. Plug in some headphones or some earbuds if you feel like it. You can actually jump around and watch different parts o the show.

We had such a great time again this year in that theater! We broadcast the concert LIVE on Saturday night and people watched it along with us all across the country and as far away as France, The UK, Spain, Brazil... even Iran.

You can plug in some headphones and sit back for a few hours and watch nearly the entire night.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
