There's so much going on! First, I hafta say "thanks again" to every one of you who hung out with us at "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" last weekend. It honestly turned into one of the most wonderful experiences I've ever had on a stage. I'm working with my pal Dean Love to start getting some music video from the concert here on the site sooner than later. I spent the better part of the day yesterday editing and mixing some audio tracks. We're having a meeting later today about the webseries project "THERE", so maybe I'll have a better idea when you guys can start seeing some of the video from the gig.

Now... at the concert I asked a nearly sold-out concert hall if you guys would be excited for a smaller, more intimate concert in a smaller venue here in New York City sooner than later. Everybody seemed to think it was a good idea and something that they would be up for.
Well, this week I think I'll be able to announce the NEXT THING!
How does this sound... a night of music, storytelling and laughs on Saturday night, March 3.
Good for you? Will you definitely show up to hear even more brand new songs that you've never heard before? Y'think you'll you bring some friends?
So what else is coming up this week here at the site? Besides the fact that I'm trying to get some brand new video posted here, one day before Christmas I'll re-post "The Story". (It's just one of those little, incredible stories that make up a life and it centered around this time of year here in New York City.)
Hey listen, this year was the 20th year that I've been called "That Guitar Man from Central Park". It's been a remarkable ride so far, and I just have one of those feelings that the next lap around the Sun... the one we're randomly calling 2012, is gonna be an even more amazing ride! I'm hoping to speak with a guy who says he wants to put me in touch with some "Broadway" people to move this little idea along in 2012. We'll see what happens.

So in a nutshell... there's a LOT going on for 2012. A lot of dreams. A lot of hopes. A lot of fun. A lot of work.
As the result of sharing all those typically amazing afternoons of music an laughs in the middle of the greatest city in the world, I've become aware that there are always a lot of you checking in from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. For newcomers, here's a little Photo Gallery from this past Summer. Very cool. Maybe you're in there! (It's still growing!)
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
