NO KIDDING AROUND! IT'S MONDAY! THE CONCERT IS THIS SATURDAY NIGHT! AND THE BOX OFFICE IS OPEN TODAY!

Hope you can show up with some friends on Saturday night. (Or, just come by yourself. It's all cool.)
What a year we had this year!
Another typically amazing "outdoor" season in Central Park.
For newcomers, here's a little Photo Gallery from this past Summer. Very cool. Maybe you're in there! (It's still growing!)
.
JUST AN AMAZING YEAR!!!
.
And like I have every year for the past... (Okay, I honestly don't know how many years) ...we're gonna kick the year in the ass as it heads out the door at...
"The Something'th Annual Year End Concert"
.
Next Saturday night, December 10th at 7:30
.
We're gonna be at Merkin Concert Hall in The Kaufman Center. It's right on West 67th Street,
just off Broadway near Lincoln Center.
Now, I'm gonna be in the studio today with most of the artists who are gonna be on stage with me on Saturday. I always book at least an extra hour of studio time when we get together to leave us enough tome to laugh and have pizza. It's an amazing way to make a living. (Okay, okay... I'm not a world famous, wealthy singer/songwriter! But I feel like the luckiest man alive to be able to do what I do and work with these wonderful people.)George Wurzbach, Ryan Cavan, Nelson Montana, and Teresa Reynolds. Not only are they also good at what they do, they are among the sweetest people I know. So I always have so much fun putting these gigs together. We really do laugh as much as we sing at these things.

Tell you what, though. After we wrap at the studio, I'll check with the Merkin Concert Hall box office so I can give you an update on how many tickets are still available for the gig. So, if you've been putting off calling your friends and getting tickets, call today or check back here again tomorrow. There honestly isn't a bad seat in that concert hall. Some of the best seats in the theater are actually in the balcony, because that balcony is right on top of the stage. It's a very intimate venue for a 500-seat house. It really is.
I have a couple of really fun ideas about this gig. One of them has to do with the BIG cover song we do every year. I think you guys are gonna love this. I think we're gonna create a good musical memory.
NOW -- here's a song I'm gonna debut with the bad at the gig on December 10th. And once again, I wanna ask you guys to keep this video moving around the planet. (It is intended to help counter the distorted and often purposely skewed image of the "Occupy Wall Street" movement by much of the "news" media. You can help by turning all your friends onto this video.)
THE NEWEST SONG AND VIDEO!

Send this video to everyone you know. Send it to people you don't know! Post it to your Facebook pages. Email it to Congress. Send it everywhere!
Y'know? This was year #20 that I've been known as "That Guitar Man from Central Park". As the result of sharing all those typically amazing afternoons of music an laughs in the middle of the greatest city in the world, I've become aware that there are always a lot of you checking in from different parts of the country and different parts of the world.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
