Here we are again... another holiday season about to begin.
HEY! Thanks to all of you who pushed my friend Christine's video over the top. She won that video thing on PBS. Thanks for voting.
Welcome to all of you checking in from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. Man! I love this town! I love this town every day of the year. But there really is something special about this time of year in New York City. It what I call the "When-Harry-Met-Sally-Time-of-Year".
After tomorrow, it's officially cool to play holiday music. After tomorrow it's gets instantly less annoying to see Christmas TV commercials. TOMORROW might actually be my very favorite holiday of the year. It's inherently American. It has nothing to do with religion, unless you assign a religion to it. It's just about being grateful. For me, it's about "paying attention" to what's really important in this world.

But here in New York, for many people it's also...
GET OUTTA-TOWN DAY!!!
So relax and remember what's really important as you're stuck in traffic. put on some good music and sing out loud in the car. Roll down the windows and sing to the car next to you. Let it rip!
TOMORROW! I'm gonna have another special Thanksgiving Update. I might leave it up for Friday as well.
But listen, do you realize that "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" is only 2 weeks away from this Saturday night?
So have a great, long weekend... but if you haven't gotten your tickets yet, call the friends you'd like to hang with that night and then plan on grabbing seats sooner than later. One thing I can tell you with absolute certainty. There isn't a bad seat in Merkin Concert Hall. I'm serious, the guys in the balcony have as much fun as the people in the orchestra. It's always a really fun crowd up there. And this beautiful venue is really designed for orchestral stuff, so it's really very intimate. The balcony is very close to the stage... like, the first row of the balcony is at Row H in the orchestra.
So go ahead an order tickets online or wait until the box office is open to speak directly to either Biz or Shayla or Michael.
Call: 212-501-3330
Or get 'em online right now!

I have a couple of really fun ideas about this gig. One of them has to do with the BIG cover song we do every year. I think you guys are gonna love this. I think we're gonna create a good musical memory.
Thanks again to all of you who hung with me this year during our "outdoor" season.
For newcomers, here's a little Photo Gallery from this past Summer. Very cool. Maybe you're in there! (It's still growing!)
NOW -- here's a song I'm gonna debut with the bad at the gig on December 10th. And once again, I wanna ask you guys to keep this video moving around the planet. (It is intended to help counter the distorted and often purposely skewed image of the "Occupy Wall Street" movement by much of the "news" media. You can help by turning all your friends onto this video.)
THE NEWEST SONG AND VIDEO!

Send this video to everyone you know. Send it to people you don't know! Post it to your Facebook pages. Email it to Congress. Send it everywhere!
Y'know? This was year #20 that I've been known as "That Guitar Man from Central Park". As the result of sharing all those typically amazing afternoons of music an laughs in the middle of the greatest city in the world, I've become aware that there are always a lot of you checking in from different parts of the country and different parts of the world.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
