Hey guys!

There's lots goin' on. This way and that way. I'm heading back downtown today to stand with the "Occupy Wall Street" movement. (I'll probably be bringing one of those "boxes" of coffee from Dunkin Donuts and some warm clothes for anyone who's gettin' a little cold down there.)

.

THE NEW VIDEO WE SHOT TO COUNTER THE PURPOSELY SKEWED PORTRAYAL IN THE AMERICAN "NEWS" MEDIA OF THE GOOD PEOPLE OF LIBERTY PLAZA IS JUST A LITTLE FURTHER DOWN THE PAGE.

.

I wound up in this CNN piece. (Y'oughta watch the whole clip.)

.

I had a few thoughts that might have been more important things to share... but I'm glad at least they caught that point honestly.

.

Email me here and tell me what you think.

.

BUT FIRST... Damn! I hope you got your tickets or are thinkin' about calling some friends and getting them in the next week or so.

It's just 4 weeks from tonight!

In 4 weeks, we're all gonna get together in a beautiful 500-seat venue in The Kaufman Center on West 67th Street near Lincoln Center. It's become a yearly tradition. Every year I get to share the stage with a phenomenal group of sweet, amazing, funny, talented artists who help me kick the year in the ass as it heads out the door.

We're doin' it again on December 10. It's...

.

"The SOMETHING'TH ANNUAL YEAR END CONCERT"

.

NOW... I can tell you that something very cool is gonna happen next month on Saturday night, December 10th! Every year, I get to share the stage with some of the most amazing, open-hearted, generous, funniest artists in this town or anywhere. George Wurzbach, Teresa Reynolds, Nelson Montana, Ryan Cavan, David Marcus and Chris Tedesco are gonna join me once again for a yearly tradition that, every year, turns into something very special. It's...
.

You can get tickets online right now by hitting the banner below. But the box office is open tomorrow and all week! You can call them directly...

212-501-3330

...and talk to Biz or Shayla. They're great!!!

We laugh as much as we sing at these things! And we have a whole bunch of new songs and a few surprises this year. We'll also be singing a bunch of your favorites from Central Park. Right now, there are plenty of good seats left. There are 500 seats in Merkin Concert Hall and there isn't a bad seat in the house. If you've ever been there you know... even the balcony is right on top of the stage so it's a very intimate venue. It's still early, but as of today there are about 275 seats left.

Now that we're into November, tickets start flying.

Okay... once again, in support of OWS! HERE'S THE NEWEST VIDEO! (It is intended to help counter the distorted and often purposely skewed image of the "Occupy Wall Street" movement by much of the "news" media. You can help by turning all your friends onto this video.)

.

How does an idea or a feeling make it all the way around the planet in one week or one day?

YOU!

Dat's how!

Send this video to everyone you know. Send it to people you don't know! Post it to your Facebook pages. Email it to Congress. Send it everywhere!

Rock on. See you downtown in Liberty Plaza!

Thanks for another typically amazing year. 20 years... I've been "That Guitar Man from Central Park". And entire generation, for cryin' out loud.

Very cool. Here's a Photo Gallery from this season. Maybe you're in there! (It's still growing!)

.

Thanks!

Hey listen, as I'm wrapping up my 20th season as "That Guitar Man from Central Park", a whole bunch of us are thinking it's time to bring the whole thing to a much larger audience.

Y'know? I get to work with some of the most amazing, generous and talented artists. They're all wonderful people, too, or I wouldn't call them my friends as well as colleagues. And as much as I like writing song, putting my guitar on my shoulder and being "the guy", I also love being "the guy who gets to open a door for the other guys!"

So, my buddy and I are gonna try to get this project on it's feet.

He's Emmy Award-winning filmmaker Dean Love, and this is really his baby. He's asked me to host it and help bring my artist-friends to the project as well... hopefully letting the whole world in on some of the wonderful things they're doing.

THERE

I guess if you've been coming around here at all, you know about this and that we need your help with it! It's a web-series / TV project that I've been telling you about over the past few months and we've finally launched it's funding campaign.

And then click here to visit the launch website to be a part of all of this. At the site you can see all the cool shit you get for joining this effort.

I'll be telling you guys a lot more about it over the next few weeks.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
