First... here are just a few more photos from this past Saturday, when singer Dave Marcus all the way up from Maryland made a surprise visit to "The Hill". He and Teresa Reynolds are regular guest artists at "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" in December and they both appeared on my last album. So it was great to hear them together again.

It turned into a really fun day. If you wanna check out any more moments from this past weekend, VISIT YESTERDAY'S UPDATE.
So... if you live in NYC, did you get a chance to check out the story on New York-1 yesterday?
Seriously, I understand people in upstate New York caught it. And thanks to the internet, I'm getting email from all over the country and around the world. It's very cool.
I though it was really well-done. (Thanks Stephanie.)

Now, I know an awful lot of you stop by here every day from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. (Hell, I'm not even sure you get NY-1 out on Long Island.) So, if you didn't get a chance to see it and you wanna take a look...
Y'know what's really cool. As I go through my Life, makin' it up as I go along, I never know what's comin' next. This news piece was just another one of those little signposts reminding me that I'm movin' along in the right direction.
And the "Broadway" thing that Stephanie was talkin' about? You can find out all about it a little further down this page. (You can even be a part of it!)

OH! And listen... we've got a 3-day holiday weekend comin' up in a few days. Many of you will be heading out of town this weekend. But many of you are like me. We LOVE to hang back and relax in town while so many people rush madly and frenetically to get someplace else... to relax.
If you're gonna be in town, I'm gonna be at "The Hill" in Central Park on Saturday afternoon from about 12:30 until the Sun goes down behind the building s on Central Park West. It's a really sweet way to spend a day. So, if you're not doin' anything else, come and hang out with me.

OKAY!
Maybe it's time to reach a larger audience!!!! Maybe on Broadway!
In a nutshell, we're putting together something that we hope is headed for Broadway or... Jupiter... or... I don't know. But it's gonna be done someplace. Broadway legend, TONY WALTON, a man who has more Tony Awards and Academy Awards than I have socks, is behind it 100%... so now it's just about getting the right team together and working it. I'll be inviting all of you to another one of those small, unplugged work sessions very soon, so keep checking back. The last 2 filled up in a matter of hours.
Here's a little 10-minute video from Tony and his wife... explaining the project.
Here's another fun, fun moment on a hot, hot summer afternoon in Central Park when Chris Tedesco just showed up top jam on a few songs. We did an old cover song.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
