Well, I hope you guys had a great weekend! Whatever you were doing, I hope you guys had a lot of fun and are ready to ease into the Summer.

Listen guys... I'm really sorry, but we might be running into a little problem with the music on "The Hill" in Central Park. I've been getting sooooooo many emails from people asking about the schedule for this summer. But I don't know what to tell them.

As of this moment, I haven't been sent any more of the permits for which I applied back in January.

But I'm tryin' to get some answers. For now, let's start off with a few smiles.

Welcome to all of you who are checking in from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. Here in New York City, this past Saturday I was out in Central Park with my guitar again, beginning the 20th Year that I've been "That Guitar Man from Central Park". It was just another typically amazing day. We had a lot of laughs. Shared a lot of music. We got to do something very cool for another wedding couple who shared their first dance as husband and wife with all of us. Gene Kornish, the lead guitar player from the rock group The Rascals, jumped in and did a song.

Just another afternoon filled with uniquely New York moments.

.

Publicist Laura Manske was out there again with her camera... so if you were out there you can check The 2011 Photo Gallery and share you afternoon here in town with friends and family all over the world. This year the gallery will be expanding as the year goes along, instead of waiting until the end of the season to post the bulk of the images. Oughta be pretty cool.

Here's just the first batch of shots from this past Saturday.

More photos tomorrow. (And maybe some video!)

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
- Dean
