This begins "Year #20" for me as "That Guitar Man from Central Park"
Here's a photo gallery from last summer. Click on this banner for a tiny example of the fun we had this year in Central Park. (No matter where in the world you're reading this, if you hung out with me you might find your smiling face in this collection!!!)

Gotta say, it feels like I'm starting this lap around the Sun of in a good way. Got Teresa Reynolds comin' over today to do a little recording. Got a whole bunch of new Creative ideas for the coming year. I'm already starting to kick around some ideas for the next "indoor" concert. I might just make it a run-through of a new show we might wanna bring to a place like... um... I don't know... Broadway. Gonna meet with Kara of The G.I.G. Foundation to see what good stuff we can put into this oftentimes f*cked up world. Gonna speak with filmmaker Dean Love about the possibility of putting together this online television series.
(A lot of this stuff is a big ol' truckload of "maybe".)
But, you guys KNOW I'm an unapologetic "possibility-junkie".
But y'know what else?
The emails are flooding in from the 2 newest videos. If you haven't become a part of this yet, you can watch the videos right now and then hit the link to briefly let me know what you think about the songs and what they have to say. Check out these two brand new songs and let me know what you think. Seriously. Shoot me an email and give me your reactions to both songs... "My Stupid Country" and "Can't You See?"
It's really cool for me to see how these songs land on the people who hear them.
I don't know where in the country or where in the world you're reading this right now. But if you're here in New York City, the diners and coffee shops are jammed with people most of the day. So... stay home and write down your thoughts about these songs and then email them to me, okay?
Here's the first:

I'm really enjoying all of your comments about the newest songs, so keep 'em comin'! This was the LIVE debut of this next song a few weeks ago here in NYC.
And if you'd like to leave your comments directly on the YouTube page for everyone to read and to get the conversation going around the world, this is the link! It's also the link you can copy and send to your friends... or just tell them to visit this site!

THE CONCERT
For you guys again today... the entire concert..."The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" is here for you to watch. Go make a pot of coffee. Pour yourself some tea or a nice glass of wine and sit back and watch this thing. Plug in some headphones or some earbuds if you feel like it. You can actually jump around and watch different parts o the show.
We had such a great time again this year in that theater!
(The audio got a little funky during Teresa Reynolds' Christmas song... but I'm do everything I can to fix that sooner than later. Check back.)

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
