Still, I was excited to see The Jets knockin' on the door to The Super Bowl. But...
The Pittsburgh Steelers just outplayed them on both sides of the football in the first half yesterday. And by the time the Jets woke up, there wasn't enough time left in the second half to pull off the win. But hats off to both teams... good, good game.
.
Now I hafta say, I'm kinda gonna be rootin' for The Green Bay Packers to beat the Steelers in the big game.
Movin' on.

NOW!
There is a method to my madness here at the website these days. I have 2 ideas, 2 projects, 2 challenges... 2 more "possibilities" I'm chasin' down this year. And I'd really love it if YOU were a part of them. In fact, I think the best way to turn these dreams into a realities (In my typical fashion) is if YOU are a very important part of them.
I know. I know. I've been a little bit cryptic about the whole thing lately. But I hope to be letting you in on it very soon. In the meantime, I hope you're all enjoying the songs and the video from the last concert. I think I'm gonna have another new video for you this here week. Okay!
Take a breath, take a break from the cold of winter, hit this banner and look back at some incredibly fun times in Central Park last summer! (No matter where in the world you're reading this, if you hung out with me you might find your smiling face in this collection!!!)

Now!
Hopefully bringing music, Reason, laughs and something Good to the world... one song at a time.
And so the updates here at this site might get spotty again. I mean, I might add a new update about 3 or 4 times a week instead of daily. But check back every day so you don't miss anything, okay?
Let me start you off today with a few videos that have to make you feel Good! The first is just a cover song from the concert here in New York City last month.
A COVER SONG
.
I wanna ask a favor.
If any of these songs make you smile, would you pass the link on to another friend or two here in NYC or somewhere else in the country or the world? I mean it. I'd love for this site to keep growing and growing the way it has over the years, but I need you all to feel like you're a part of making that happen.
I'm gonna leave this page posted today and tomorrow to give you a chance to turn as many friends onto it as you can, and ask them to let you know how they feel about the songs and what they have to say. Might be a good conversation starter with someone you either know well or would like to know better.
Because very soon I'm gonna be announcing a project in which you will definitely play a vital part. I mean, the success or failure of the next thing I've got planned will fall directly to all of the ordinary, very cool people out there who've hung out with me and shared music and laughs with me over the years.
ANYWAY!!!!! Just sit back and have fun with this moment from the last concert here in NYC!
.
NOW! Send the link to this page to everyone you know!
And... HA! For the love of everything holy... will somebody get this song to people like Sarah Palin!!! Let's pick up where Tina Fey left off. We can have fun with people like her and Glenn Beck and turn them from a national disgrace to a national joke.
Cool?
.
And then let's just fill up the rest of this page with some funny, some hopefully thought-provoking, and some warm, sweet, fun videos from this winter season and last summer season.
.
Here's the newest in the bunch, followed by an assortment of songs and moments.
ANOTHER NEW VIDEO -- "The Last Protest Song"
.
.
Okay... how do you feel about the song and what it says?
And if you'd like to leave your comments directly on the YouTube page for everyone to read and to get the conversation going around the world, this is the link! It's also the link you can copy and send to your friends... or just tell them to visit this site!

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
