Welcome to the website.

Yeah. Yeah... yesterday I said I am gonna be cutting back on the updates. And I am.

BUT -- I did some great work with Teresa yesterday on a demo for a colleague, and then after she left to go to her rehearsal for the comedy troupe she helped found, I noticed something about that wonderful story we've all been seeing on the internet and on the news.

The story of Ted Williams, the homeless man with the golden voice.

He reminded me of somebody... but I just couldn't place it.

.

It hit me last night where I'd seen him before.

I'm just sayin'.

(And I wish him all the best!)

Okay now! I know there are an awful lot of people who stop by this site from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. But most of you are right here in New York City.

Have something I need to tell you guys today, especially if you've been checking in here every day.

I hope you keep this page bookmarked and check it every day, just to see what's goin' on. We have a lot of fun around here... FREE songs to download, works-in-progress to comment on, Photoshop images, different thoughts on the day's news and current events, and lots of video.

BUT -- I woke up this morning with one of those half-awake-and-half-asleep inspirations that I always try to listen to. And I think I finally KNOW where the next big Creative project wants to go! So I'm going to to be diverting some of the time and energy it take for me to update this page every day, and directing it into that. This feels wonderful and right and simply has to be tried. It's the next "possibility". (And you guys know me... an unapologetic "possibility-junkie".)

So, I'm really gonna duck my head for a few months and get to work.

When you check in here, you might see the same update for a few days. But I promise, if something funny happens on the world, or something serious, or.... just something I feel like sharing with you guys, I'll be here.

What I'm trying to say in this long-winded way is that I'll probably be cutting back to about 3 or 4 update a week instead of 7!

Cool?

On Monday of this week I submitted all the paperwork, all the applications to The Parks Department for another "outdoor" season starting in May this year. SO THE SUMMER SHOULD BE ALL SET. This will be Year # 20 out there at "The Hill" by The Lake in Central Park.

If you're new around here, you might wanna make a pot of coffee or pour a glass of wine and browse through The ARCHIVE. Lotsa really fun stuff in there going all the way back to... to.. well, they go a long way back! And if you're NOT new around here, but feel like spending a little time and it's one of those days that there is no new update, you might also wanna start going back through the thousands and thousands of updates. Kinda fun.

THE CONCERT

For you guys again today... the entire concert... "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" is here for you to watch. Go make a pot of coffee. Pour yourself some tea or a nice glass of wine and sit back and watch this thing. Plug in some headphones or some earbuds if you feel like it. You can actually jump around and watch different parts o the show.

We had such a great time again this year in that theater!

(The audio got a little funky during Teresa Reynolds' Christmas song... but I'm do everything I can to fix that sooner than later. Check back.)

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
