Welcome to the website.

For today, I'll just be...

REMEMBERING JOHN LENNON

Just a feeling...

That even after he wrote such songs as "Watching the Wheels"... John Lennon would not have been able to remain outside the struggle for sanity, Reason and Peace. Had his life not been cut short by a sick human being on December 8th all those years ago, I'm absolutely sure he would have remained a powerful, powerful voice in this world.

Would have loved to meet the man.

To mark this day I'd like to give you guys another free download. Here's a song I wrote back in 2003. Kinda asks a question and hopefully makes a point that John would have "gotten".

WHERE'S THE VOICE

Hey!

Here are a few really Good things.

We are now just 3 days away from "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert". It's this Saturday night at 7:30! So if you're in or around New York City, I'm hoping you already bought tickets or are planning to grab them in the next couple of days!

Of course I'll probably hafta do the song that's rocketed around the planet a few times. Can you believe almost 350,000 people have passed this song around?

A man who was good friends with John Lennon is gonna be in the house. In fact, he's walking human music history. Sid Bernstein hasn't missed one of my shows yet since he discovered "The Hill" in Central Park. He's the man who brought The Beatles to America. He's gonna be in the audience with you on Saturday night!

Here's another one of his friends talking about him this past August!

Click to watch Paul talking to and about my buddy Sid!

.

So Sid hung with Sir Paul in August, but he's gonna hang with all of us at Merkin Concert Hall in 3 days!

.

.

And if YOU are IN the theater, you will be able to share this gig with friends and family all across the country and around the world.

It's just another really fun thing to do.

We're gonna stream the concert LIVE to the entire planet!!!

THE CONCERT IS GOING TO BE STREAMED LIVE ON DECEMBER 11.

Now -- if you live anywhere in or near New York City, you oughta grab tickets so that you can be in the house, and then tell all your friends and family who live far away to watch it on their computers that night. It'll be a cool way for you all to share something special at a very cool time of year.

You can watch this concert anywhere in the world on Saturday. All you're gonna tell them to do is show up here at this website!!! We will have a banner link all set up. And at 7:30, just click on the link and watch the concert LIVE!

It's gonna be very cool. But seriously... if you can make it to Merkin Concert
Hall at Kaufman Center
, try to be there with us. There are 2 ways for you to get tickets for this gig.

The box office is open today at noon and all week. And you can order tickets online right now to make sure you get the best seats.

Click on this banner to grab your tickets right now!

.
Call a few friends, round them up, make plans to make a night of it.

When you order tickets, if you'd rather speak with... y'know... a human being... there are really nice ones in the box office.

This has been another typically amazing year for me creatively. I mean, next week I'm gonna be able to play for you guys and I'm really looking forward to flying them past a live audience. One of them was just finding it's legs at the end of the summer in 2010.

JOIN US AT MERKIN CONCERT HALL ON SATURDAY NIGHT, when you'll be able to llok around and see all those same smiling faces you saw all summer... and feel that same "It's Just Us" feeling. If you're new around here, you might wanna hit The ARCHIVE to see what this is all about. And you might wanna check out this little photo gallery from this past summer here in New York City. What a season of music and laughs we had!

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
