If you're new around here, you might wanna hit The ARCHIVE to see what this is all about. And you might wanna check out this little photo gallery from this past summer here in New York City. What a season of music and laughs we had!

And here in NYC we're gonna have us another amazing night in just a few days.
This coming weekend, this Saturday night, it's time for an annual tradition. Now you might ask how many times we've gotten together at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center to kick the year in the ass as it heads out the door? How many of these amazing nights have we done?
Nobody remembers.
That's why it's called...
"The Something'th Annual Year-End Concert"
.
.
YESTERDAY -- was the first time I got into the studio to assemble all of the artists who are going to share the stage this Saturday night. I'm telling you... this is why I feel like the luckiest man alive. We ran songs, and sang, and laughed, and worked, and laughed some more. We stopped and started through the songs we've played together before, and we hammered through the new stuff...and then we laughed some more. And I can tell you this. If you're going to be anywhere in or around this town on Saturday night...
YOU'RE GONNA WANNA GRAB TICKETS... LIKE... TODAY!
Here today... there are 2 ways for you to get tickets. And even though more than half of the seats have been sold, I can promise you that there isn't a bad seat in that venue. Seriously. The balcony is right on top of the stage and it's designed for orchestral performances. So, it's a very intimate hall for a venue of that size.
You can order tickets online right now to make sure you get the best seats available.
Click on this banner to grab your tickets right now!
.
So if you don't grab tickets online today, maybe you can make today a day to call a few friends, round them up, make plans to make a night of it.
When you order tickets, if you'd rather speak with... y'know... a human being... there are really nice ones in the box office which opens today at noon.

Hey y'know what?
Before we get to a couple of clips from last year's concert. I wanna re-post something from a couple of days ago that a lot of people told me they got a kick out of. It's just something I noticed watching the Sunday morning talk shows.
Y'see, I've learned in the past 10 years that not only are the Republicans in the nation a collection if disingenuous, Spritually-bankrupt, fear-driven, self-seeking lairs.... but that the Democrats in our government are either spineless Casper Milquetoasts or bombastic, lightweight phonies.
And yet!!!!!!
I noticed something a few years ago that I think I should share with all of you. There is a wonderful actress named Kathryn Joosten who played Mrs. Landingham on "The West Wing" and more recently Karen McCluskey in "Desperate Housewives".
I have come to believe that she is really Democratic leader Senator Harry Reid in drag.
. . . .
.
But more recently, like Sunday, it finally hit me who that lying, morally-vacant jackass and Republican minority leader Mitch McConnell looks like!!!
Holy shit!
.
.
HE'S TOUCHE TURTLE!!!!

.
Moving on!

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
