The weekend we get to kick 2010 in the ass! (Well, not officially. But we get to hang together for that annual tradition... the number of which NOBODY remembers!!!!)
If you're gonna be in New York City tomorrow night... I hope I see you at Merkin Concert Hall at Kaufman Center!

.
Yeah... if you're gonna be there, shoot me an email and let me know what favorites you feel like singin' at the top of your lungs!
.
This is a brand new song I just wrote. George and Nelson and Ryan and I are gonna do it for the very first time tomorrow night LIVE! (I just promised someone I would post it as a free download here today!!!)
If you live in a different part of the country or a different part of the world, you can watch the concert LIVE right here at the website!!! (7:30 eastern) Figure out what that means for you!
BUT!
If you're gonna be in New York City tomorrow night...
There are still tickets available! Call the box office today!

.
Call a few friends, round them up, make plans to make a night of it.
Gonna run some brand new songs past you! There's one new song in particular I can't wait to hear you guys singin'!!! (At least 2 words!) And we're gonna do a whole bunch of songs from the attic!
"THE SOMETHING'TH ANNUAL YEAR-END CONCERT"
AND... we'll have a man who is a little piece of music history in the audience with us. And another man who's got more Tony Awards and Academy Awards in his home than I have socks! And we'll have an Emmy-Award-wining filmmaker shooting the thing. (Damn! That's a lot of hardware! We could open a hardware store after the gig!) And evil-genius James Marino will be streaming the concert to the entire world.
But the most important thing to me is that you're there! You and me...
"It's Just Us!"
This is gonna be a very special very cool night I can feel it already. Gonna be sharing the stage again with George Wurzbach, Nelson Montana, Ryan Cavan, Dave Marcus, Chris Tedesco... and the beautiful and talented Teresa Reynolds

Um, one more time -- HERE ARE THE REGULAR GALLERIES. Let's take a look back at this year's "outdoor" season. ' Cause when we fill Merkin Concert Hall and fill it with music and that "It's Just Us" feeling, you can look around and see a lot of the same smiling faces you see around you all summer in Central Park. Here's a photo galleries from this season. This one exists largely because of the enthusiasm and camera work of publicist Laura Manske and others who send in photos. The 2010 gallery will continue to grow as we finish out the year "indoors".
(No matter where in the world you're reading this, if you've ever hung out with me you might find your smiling face in one of the galleries!!!)

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
