Okay, okay... the same thing happened last year. But it was fun.
AND!
I was talking with a friend and colleague of mine this week about this video. So, here's a re-post of... "The Tree"!
WHAT is it about that video that makes me smile every time! (Probably an imbalance of some kind.)
.
SO!
WELCOME TO THE WEBSITE!
If you're stopping by from a different part of the country or a different part of the world, gotta tell you... this week in New York City has been colder than Rudolph's ass in a head wind at 30,000 feet! But... it's winter. That's it's job.
Last Saturday night we were all in Merkin Concert Hall for "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert". If you were there with us... THANKS AGAIN!
I'm getting a flood of email from people in the hall that night, and everybody had an amazing time. Dozens of people who were first-timers wrote in telling me what an extraordinary feeling they experienced with all of you guys and how much fun they had. Maybe I'll start posting some of the comments here in the run-up to the New Year.
Although one woman suggested I lay off organized religion with my music and commentary. (Sorry Darlin'. Ain't happenin'. This is something I feel VERY strongly about. No problem, though. You just do whatever gets you through the night!)
YOU CAN WATCH THE ENTIRE CONCERT RIGHT HERE!(And you can jump around, so you don't hafta sit through the whole thing at once.)
Go make a pot of coffee. Pour yourself some tea or a nice glass of wine and sit back and watch this thing. Plug in some headphones or some earbuds if you feel like it.
We had such a great time again this year in that theater!
(The audio got a little funky during Teresa Reynolds' Christmas song... but I'm do everything I can to fix that sooner than later. Check back.)
.
Okay. Here's the second series of photos from Saturday night. THANKS to Sean Friedman for the shots!

I'll be back tomorrow with another update.
If you were at the concert, or if you watched it LIVE on the internet, click on this link to shoot me an email and tell me what you thought of the night... and where in the world you watched it!
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
