Oh man!

I NOTICED SOMETHING AND I WANNA SHARE IT WITH ALL OF AMERICA TODAY! (Further down the page.)

The concert is less than a week away, and this thing is getting cooler and cooler.

Now, you know that we're gonna stream the show LIVE that night. So if you're one of those people reading this in a different part of the country or a different part of the world, you're gonna be able to watch the gig right here on your computers, right? Well, I had a very fun idea and I'm gonna talk to the webmaster of this site and "Evil Genius", James Marino, to see if we can pull it off.

First of all... welcome to all of you the website. If you're new around here, you're stopping by at a great time of year! Yeah sure, you missed the "outdoor season" when I get to hang with hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers and people from all across the country and around the world -- down in The village during the "Sunset Concert Series" and every warm Saturday afternoon as "That Guitar Man from Central Park".

Had a wonderful conversation with a beautiful woman last night who was new at my website. When she clicked on the "Photoshop Gallery" further down the page, the first tihg she said was, "Oh my God! Why do you have so many photos of Sarah Palin and... oh my God! George Bush!!!

I realized I should probably write some kind of explanation or disclaimer right at the top of the gallery.Maybe I'll do that sometime today. In the interest of "clarity", here's an update I published recently called... "Clarity"!

A VERY CLEAR UPDATE

.

Now back to the fun stuff!

Well, wait a minute! It's Sunday! I can't leave all of the politics alone just yet. Because I've learned in the past 10 years that not only are the Republicans in the nation a collection if disingenuous, Spritually-bankrupt, self-seeking lairs.... but that the Democrats in our government are either spineless Casper Milqutoasts or bombastic, lightweight phonies.

And yet!!!!!!

I noticed something a few years ago that I think I should share with all of you. There is a wonderful actress named Kathryn Joosten who played Mrs. Landingham on "The West Wing" and more recently Karen McCluskey in "Desperate Housewives".

I have come to believe that she is really Democratic leader Senator Harry Reid in drag.

. . . .

.

But more recently, like yesterday, it finally hit me who that lying, twisted, morally-vacant jackass and Republican minority leader Mitch McConnell looks like!!!

Holy shit!

.

.

HE'S TOUCHE TURTLE!!!!

. . . .

.

.

BUT! Y'know what!? Never mind all that!

.

"The Something'th Annual Year End Concert" is just...

.

.

ONE WEEK AWAY!!!!!

Yeah, it's a seriously very cool thing. One week from last night I get to share a stage again with some of the most talented, open-hearted, generous, funny and creative artists anywhere. I look so froward to this gig every here in in New York City... the most exciting city on the face of the earth. We're gonna laugh. We're gonna sing. We're gonna kick 2010 in the ass as it heads out the door!

And once again, if you're one of those people who checks in here every day from a different part of the country or a different part of the world, YOU will be able to be a part of this gig as well! We're gonna stream the thing LIVE again.

We'll have a direct link here at the site that night!!!

Now -- if you live anywhere in or near New York City, you oughta grab tickets so that you can be in the house, and then tell all your friends and family who live far away to watch it on their computers that night. It'll be a cool way for you all to share something special at a very cool time of year.

I'll have more about the link and how you can watch this concert anywhere in the world tomorrow. But, here in town...

IT'S ONE WEEK AWAY! IF YOU'VE BEEN PUTTING IT OFF, GET TICKETS THIS WEEK! (You can get 'em online any time. The box office is open today and all week.)

This has been another typically amazing year for me creatively. I mean, next week I'm gonna be able to play for you guys and I'm really looking forward to flying them past a live audience. One of them was just finding it's legs at the end of the summer in 2010.

I think you're gonna be really surprised by some of the songs I will pull out of the attic! We're gonna have a good time as we kick another year in the ass as it heads out the door. I wanna smile so much my face hurts again like last year!

If you're new around here, browse through the ARCHIVE. This is a website that you can check every day. there's a new update here almost every day with video, FREE songs to download, cartoons, thoughts, feelings, contests.... all kindsa stuff.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
