Hey, welcome to the website. Welcome to all of you in different parts of the country and different parts of the world. Here in NYC... I'M HEADING DOWNTOWN AGAIN TONIGHT!

Gonna play a few songs as part of a very interesting, very funky little gig at The Sidewalk Cafe. Lookin' forward to it. But first...

Here are a couple of photo galleries from this season and last. These photo galleries exist largely because of the enthusiasm and camera work of publicist Laura Manske and others who send in photos, and the 2010 gallery will continue to grow as I add more photos over the next few days.

(No matter where in the world you're reading this, if you've ever hung out with me you might find your smiling face in one of the galleries!!!)

Okay!

If you're not doin' anything, I was asked to be part of the lineup in another gig downtown... at The Sidewalk Cafe. I figure it might be cool. I understand the producer of this thing lines up some really cool New York artists for this thing. Maybe I'll even run a new song by you guys... just to take it for a test-drive.

Hope I see you there.

BUT!!!!!!!

The big thing is comin' up in about 5 weeks!!! On Saturday night December 11th, we're all gettin' together in a beautiful, 500-seat venue near Lincoln Center called Merkin Concert Hall. We've done this every year for the past.... um... we'll there. Y'see? Nobody remembers how many times we've gotten together to kick another year in the ass as it heads out the door.

But we're doin' it again.

Don't miss this one. (Seriously, y'never know about these things. some years they sell-out early. Some years you can still get tickets the day of the show. Y'just never know.)

But better play it safe. Start calling friends this weekend and grab seats sooner than later. (Actually if you've ever been there you know. There really isn't a bad seat in Merkin Hall. For a large theater, it's very intimate.) For me it's just a cool tradition and a chance to share a stage again with some of the most talented, sweetest, funniest artists in New York! So here's the number for the box office if you wanna call them directly to speak with Elizabeth.

212-501-3330

.

Or you can order them online right now...

So call a few friends, round them up, make plans to make a night of it... and then grab tickets sooner than later!!!

Thanks for everything.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
