Hey NEW WEEK!

One week closer to the big concert in December!

AND I'M GONNA DO A VERY SPECIAL GIG THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT!

But first...

Click on each photo for larger image.
. . . . . . .

Let's start off with a look back at this season. ' Cause when we fill Merkin Concert Hall and fill it with music and that "It's Just Us" feeling, you can look around and see a lot of the same smiling faces you see around you all summer in Central Park. Here's a photo galleries from this season. This one exists largely because of the enthusiasm and camera work of publicist Laura Manske and others who send in photos. The 2010 gallery will continue to grow as we finish out the year "indoors".

(No matter where in the world you're reading this, if you've ever hung out with me you might find your smiling face in one of the galleries!!!)

Did you catch up on all the stuff that's goin' on here at the website? All last week...

THE CHILEAN MINER STORY
A BIG OL' THANK YOU
3 NEW VIDEOS

Lots more goin' on this week!

This Wednesday night, I was asked to be the guest at a very, VERY cool little series that is being produced and hosted by one of the finest songwriters I've ever met. CASSIE KUBINSKI!

She asked me to come down The Village to be her guest artist in her "Origins" series. It's all about music, the creative process, the business, art, Love... Life. If you're gonna be in town, I hope you come down and hang out with me for this thing.

If you're able to be there, I might let you guys in on some ideas I'm kickin' around for "The Something'th Annual Year-End Concert"

Oh yeah, and I'm definitely asking for your help in promoting this year's concert!!!

Seriously...

Would you send an email to at least 10 of your friends! and tell them about the concert on December 11th? We really wanna fill every seat in that hall with cool people this year... people who just "get it"!

If you don't wanna write your own I made it easy. Just copy and paste this one!!!

CLICK HERE IF YOU WANT A
PRE-WRITTEN MESSAGE TO COPY!

Cool?

Thanks so much!!!!!

And if you haven't gotten your own tickets yet.... um... what are you waiting for!?

here at the website today I've got 2 ways you can grab tickets for...

"The Something'th Annual Year-End Concert"

.

I know. I know. You're thinking, "I've got plenty of time to get tickets."

And... you do.

But this might be a good weekend to start calling some friends, really making plans. Y'know? This thing happens in the second week of December, right around the time so many of you religious-types are celebrating holidays and stuff. It's the time of year when friends start thinking about getting together as one year ends and we turn another page on the calendar.

For me it's just a cool tradition and a chance to share a stage again with some of the most talented, sweetest, funniest artists in New York! So here's the number for the box office if you wanna call them directly to speak with Elizabeth.

212-501-3330

.

Or you can order them online right now...

Click on this banner to grab your tickets right now!

.

So call a few friends, round them up, make plans to make a night of it... and then grab tickets sooner than later!!!

.

Here are a few moments from last year's concert!

Here are a couple of different galleries.

.

.

HAVE FUN TODAY!!!!!! (And be cool to each other, okay?) I'll be back tomorrow with another update.

.

Thanks for everything.

.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
