Summer's long gone!!!

.

.

Time to get together again... "indoors"!

Cool update today, pass the link to a friend or two. Man! I'm havin' fun with this new song!

Got lots of email about the Bristol Palin thought I floated out there yesterday on this site. (Not that I'm the only one who's asked this question!)

So yeah... I'm gonna finish writing the song and me and the guys will do it at the concert in a little over 3 weeks. I'm itchin' to give you guys a little taste of what the song sounds like. Maybe I'll record a demo and put a little sound clip here in this page in the next couple of days.

DO YOU GUYS WANNA HEAR THE NEW SONG WHILE IT'S A WORK IN PROGRESS!?

.

Maybe I'll run some of it by you tomorrow!

Gimme a shout!

HEY! Welcome to the website for another day!!! Listen, never mind Afghanistan. Never mind Iraq. Never mind a spiraling deficit and the influx of more backward thinking, fear-based Tea Party people heading to Washington. I've been watching the American news media for the past 24 hours and...

There's gonna be another Royal Wedding!!!!!

Which, of course, for someone like me brings only one question to mind...

(scroll down for the question)

Who could possibly give a shit?!

.

.

.

.

.

.

Besides, I'm not gonna be invited. Remember when President Obama visited The Queen at the same time I happened to be in London? I've been on the outs with those people ever since "The Great Groping Incident of 2009"

.

.

(Some people are sooooo sensitive!)

.

It's all cool. Because I'm not inviting any of the members of the royal family to my concert in December! So there!

But YOU are invited!

"The Something'th Annual Year End Concert"

I might as well tell any newcomers how they can get tickets for the big concert right here... TODAY!

Y'know?

When we fill Merkin Concert Hall and fill it with music and that "It's Just Us" feeling, you can look around and see a lot of the same smiling faces you see around you all summer in Central Park. And on stage... we just have more fun than I think you're allowed to have in several states.

Let's take a little look back at this season. ' Cause when we fill Merkin Concert Hall and fill it with music and that "It's Just Us" feeling, you can look around and see a lot of the same smiling faces you see around you all summer in Central Park. Here's a photo galleries from this season. This one exists largely because of the enthusiasm and camera work of publicist Laura Manske and others who send in photos. The 2010 gallery will continue to grow as we finish out the year "indoors".

(No matter where in the world you're reading this, if you've ever hung out with me you might find your smiling face in one of the galleries!!!)

Click to visit this year's gallery

.

So call a few friends, round them up, make plans to make a night of it... and then grab tickets sooner than later!!!

.

Here are a few moments from last year's concert!

Okay now...

Here are a couple of different galleries.

.

.

HAVE FUN TODAY!!!!!! (And be cool to each other, okay?) I'll be back tomorrow with another update.

.

Thanks for everything.

.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
