Hey guys!

Got some new video for you here today. But first I hafta ask...

Were you out in Central Park with me last weekend?

Seriously... what an amazing day. Just another amazing day. What a memory we made... a thousand memories for a few thousand people! I'm still comin' down from it. I was joined by The Lake by thousands of New Yorkers, and by people from all across this country and around the world. We sang, we laughed, we cried... we shared nearly 6 hours of a beautiful day with each other. It was a blast.

Y'know? I've been "That Guitar Man from Central Park" for 19 years. Still, I never ever ever take it for granted. I'm such a lucky man.

Before I tell you about the BIG concert coming up in December, I wanna share a batch of photos from this past Saturday afternoon. (Thanks to the ever-present camera of publicist Laura Manske.)

Hey... now it's entirely possible that this Saturday will be the last time I get to hang out with you in the park for the season. We might be able to squeeze one more in after this. But we've had a little ongoing "situation" with the Permit Office at The Parks Department, so it might not be worth the negative energy.

Yeah, but it's all cool.

Sure. This Saturday will probably be the last really sweet hang of the "outdoor" season for 2010. But then it will be time to move it "indoors" again before we finish up another lap around the Sun. If you're gonna be here in town, I hope I see you out there in Central Park to say "good bye" this coming Saturday.

.

But that does NOT mean the music is over or that I won't see you all again very soon. We're just a little more than 7 weeks out from that yearly tradition...

"The Something'th Annual Year End Concert"

More about that in a minute!

First, once again I hafta thank every single one of you who spent even one day out in the park with me this year or any other time. all this week I'm gonna try to bring you new photos from last weekend or new video from this summer.

This past Saturday, another wedding party just happened to come by. We got them to share their first dance as husband and wife with all of us. But then... we turned the path by The Lake into a dance floor.

Like I said, there are also some fun videos making their way around the country and around the world. Here's one about the upcoming final installments of the Harry Potter series of movies. It's a song about the character, Hermione Granger.

Here... click on the image to check out the song and watch the video.

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
