New video here today!!!

First, I hafta say...

Every year, the first weekend that I'm not playing music in Central Park with you guys following... it's a little weird. I'm so used to strapping on my guitar and sharing music, and laughs, and stories, and thoughts and feeling with people every weekend that when the season is over and that first weekend rolls around... it has an effect. I'm not saying I get down or I get really blue. Let's just say... I get a little... off.

So many laughs -- so many wonderful memories from the summer -- so many good times.

Wanna start you of today with a brand new video from this past season in the park.

Yeah, it's a little hard to adjust when another season ends.

BUT! Today... I'm back!!!

It's a new moment, a new day here at the website. Really gettin' down to work on the next thing. And I'm spending today rounding up the usual suspects for...

"The Something'th Annual Year End Concert"

Don't get sold outta this one! I'm gonna be joined on stage once again by the most talented, good-hearted, generous, funniest, wonderful artists in New York or anywhere else. (And George will be there, too!)

Here's a banner you can click on to reserve your seats right now. Now call a few friends, round them up, make plans to make a night of it... and then grab tickets sooner than later!!!

You can order them online right now...

Y'know?

When we fill Merkin Concert Hall and fill it with music and that "It's Just Us" feeling, you can look around and see a lot of the same smiling faces you see around you all summer in Central Park. Here are a couple of photo galleries from this season and last. These photo galleries exist largely because of the enthusiasm and camera work of publicist Laura Manske and others who send in photos, and the 2010 gallery will continue to grow as I add more photos over the next few days.

(No matter where in the world you're reading this, if you've ever hung out with me you might find your smiling face in one of the galleries!!!)

In fact I hafta ask... here's the question:

What songs do you want to hear me do live, solo and with the band?

Click on this link and let me know.

It's kind of a good problem to have. I mean, 8 albums later and a whole bunch of songs like "Facebook..." and "You Might Be Her" and "Hey American" and others that never made it into a collection... every year I know I'm not gonna get 'em all in. So why don't you start thinkin' about it and send me the songs that you'd like to hear and sing along to.

Cool?

AND -- start calling your friends so you can get the best seats sooner than later. Here's a banner you can click on to reserve your seats right now. Now call a few friends, round them up, make plans to make a night of it... and then grab tickets sooner than later!!!

Here are a few clips from last year's gig. We had a blast and this year is gonna be another special night. I can feel it already. I'm so lookin' forward to it.

Now, here's that song about "Facebook... Idiot" is still rocketing around the world. As of today, over a quarter of a million people all around the planet are passing it around. (Must struck a chord inside a few people.)

If you haven't seen it yet...

Pass it on to all you friends. Post in anywhere you want! Now one more thing about that "facebook" song! You can also get that one for yourself!

Click on this link and also get this song right now!!!

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
