GOT A LINK AND THE BOX OFFICE PHONE NUMBER HERE TODAY IF YOU WANNA GRAB YOUR TICKETS FOR THE CONCERT IN DECEMBER!

The Sun is back out here in New York City. Beautiful, crisp autumn day. Perfect weather for Fall Baseball.

After yesterday's win, The Yankees are heading back to Texas with their backs against the wall. We'll see what happens. This is why they play the games. But it's ALL in the Toy Department! I had such a wonderful time sharing a whole bunch of games up there this year. (Thanks Andrea!) Yesterday was a fun game as the boys made one more trip to Texas necessary. And damn! Good game! It was fun to be in The Stadium to watch them spank the Rangers in yesterday's game.

So, we get a day off from baseball today. And then...

This coming weekend the weather is looking really sweet, but just a little bit cool. (Doesn't matter anyway. We were denied anymore permits to sing together in Central Park.)

But I think I must might head out there to "The Hill" on Saturday anyway... just to hang.

Seriously... I spend a bit of time out there by The Lake all year, even when I'm not standing there barefoot with a guitar on my shoulder. In fact in the winter time, if you're ever taking a cab through the park at night and you see somebody standing there in the snow... it's probably me. But I'm thinkin' that this coming Saturday I might head there to catch people who are unaware that the season has ended, and let them know about the...

"THE SOMETHING'TH ANNUAL YEAR-END CONCERT"

If you've ever been to one of these things, you know how much fun they are. I'm already lookin' forward to this one.

I'm gonna share the stage with the usual suspects.

I'll be back tomorrow with another update. If you're new around here or if you're gonna be in town on December 11th I really hope I see you and some friends at Merkin Concert Hall. You might wanna go back and browse The Archive to see what goes on around here.

Listen, I also wanna welcome everyone checking in from a different part of the country or a different part of the world, and any newcomers who might be showing up here for the first time. Here in New York City we just finished up another typically amazing "outdoor" season of music in both Central Park and down on Pier 45 in The Village. You can click on these banners to check out a whole bunch of photos from both gigs all year.... and the year before.

(No matter where in the world you're reading this, if you've ever hung out with me you might find your smiling face in one of the galleries!!!)

Like I said, there are also some fun videos making their way around the country and around the world. Here's one about the upcoming final installments of the Harry Potter series of movies. It's a song about the character, Hermione Granger.

Here... click on the image to check out the song and watch the video.

Now one more thing about that song!

IT IS AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO DOWNLOAD!!!

I'm serious!

Now you can download the song itself, and walk around with it in your ipod or mp3 player and sing it to yourself on the bus, in the subway, in the car... while you're on facebook.

Now, that other song about "Facebook... Idiot" is still rocketing around the world. As of today, over a quarter of a million people all around the planet are passing it around. (Must struck a chord inside a few people.)

If you haven't seen it yet...

Pass it on to all you friends. Post in anywhere you want! Now one more thing about that "facebook" song! You can also get that one for yourself!

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
