GOT A NEW, SWEET LITTLE VIDEO FOR YOU HERE TODAY. (It's a new one. Kind of a mix of moments in the park a few weeks ago.)
If you're in a different part of the country or reading this in a different part of the world, gotta tell you... the leaves are just changing color in Central Park and it's gonna be spectacular. But that also means we're getting close to a really cool time of year here in town. It's almost time for the Thanksgiving Day Parade on Central Park West, the Christmas Tree to be lit at 30 Rock and...
"THE SOMETHING'TH ANNUAL YEAR END CONCERT"
AT MERKIN CONCERT HALL"
.
(More about that in a minute.)
First here's another quick look back at a few moments at "The Hill" in Central Park this past summer.

Now, I hope you're all coming to the concert in December.

There are much larger Photo Galleries from the past couple of year a little further down the page.
If you showed up here because of the promise of an article in that email... Once in awhile, thatguitarman.com gets a shot at an exclusive article. You won't read this anywhere else.

Pretty wild, hah?
Well, I promise only one thing... there won't be any songs about the Chilean miners at this year's gig at Merkin Concert Hall. I did, however, wake up with an idea for a brand new song that I might just roll out with the band at this show.
AND!!!!! We're streaming this show LIVE all around the world again. So there just might be a YouTube moment or two. I mean, that's what happened with "Facebook is a Stupid Idiot" and nearly a half a million views later, it's still going!!!

Here's that new video I was telling you about.

OKAY NOW... NO SCREWIN' AROUND!
The tickets for the "Year End Concert" went on sale about 10 days ago. But they're already selling pretty fast. Now last year this concert wasn't lookin' like a sell-out until the day of the show. But you never know about this gig year to year. One year it sold out so fast that people were looking for tickets on "Craig'sList".
Here's a banner you can click on to reserve your seats right now. Now call a few friends, round them up, make plans to make a night of it... and then grab tickets sooner than later!!!
You can order them online right now...

Y'know?
When we fill Merkin Concert Hall and fill it with music and that "It's Just Us" feeling, you can look around and see a lot of the same smiling faces you see around you all summer in Central Park. And on stage... we just have more fun than I think you're allowed to have in several states.
I'm gonna share the stage with the usual suspects.

I'll be back tomorrow with another update. If you're new around here or if you're gonna be in town on December 11th I really hope I see you and some friends at Merkin Concert Hall. You might wanna go back and browse The Archive to see what goes on around here.
Listen, I also wanna welcome everyone checking in from a different part of the country or a different part of the world, and any newcomers who might be showing up here for the first time. Here in New York City we just finished up another typically amazing "outdoor" season of music in both Central Park and down on Pier 45 in The Village. You can click on these banners to check out a whole bunch of photos from both gigs all year.... and the year before.
(No matter where in the world you're reading this, if you've ever hung out with me you might find your smiling face in one of the galleries!!!)

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
