Man! this is a great time of year in New York City.
Well actually, every time of year is a wonderful time of year in this town. (Although weather-wise, I guess I could do without February and March.)
But we're flipping back and forth between summer-like days and autumn days. My musical season in Central Park is still going on. It's winding down but we've got something really, really cool happening this coming weekend. And then after the season in the park is over, it's immediately time to start getting ready for "The Something'th Annual Year End Concert".
Football season has started and the baseball season is getting closer to World Series time.
I was up at the stadium last night to watch The Yankees finally get back on track against The Red Sox.

Rockin' through the rain. Cheered through a blown save. Rocked into extra innings. Lost my voice! But the boys came up with a big BIG win to close out the home season. What a game! (Thanks again, Andrea!)
.
This past weekend... it was just another typically amazing afternoon at "The Hill" by The Lake. But for some reason (maybe because we can sense the close of year #19 approaching) after I took my guitar off my shoulder so many beautiful people came up to me and shared the most amazing thoughts and feelings with me. I really helps me know tat I'm doing exactly what I'm meant to be doing with my Life and my work.
So... THANKS again.
Here's the first batch of photos from this past Saturday.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
