Heading back home... heading back to "The Hill" in Central Park.

Man! This "changing the world for the better" business is hard work. And While it's always fascinating and fulfilling, sometimes it's not very pleasant or fun. (You can see why I say that if you follow the link to this update.)
So it's gonna feel really good to shake off any of the negative experiences of last weekend and get back out to the sweet, cool people who will likely gather by The Lake today.
I really missed you guys last weekend. I'm gonna crank it up today around 1:00.

And I spoke with my buddy and colleague Ryan Cavan earlier this week. He might head out there to jam on a few songs as well. And... I actually never know what's gonna happen out there.

And since this another update on a SATURDAY... I always hafta remember that some of you are checking in from a different part of the country or a different part of the world, and some of you are checking in here because you're in New york and you wanna know if I'm gonna be in the park today.
But many of you are stopping by for the first time because it's later in the day and you joined me in the park for the very first time today. This is the newest song that's makin' the rounds on the internet. It's about the national disgrace and embarrassment to all thoughtful people everywhere that's happening downtown in my own hometown.
You might wanna check out my original thoughts by hitting this link. I received an awful lot of email in response to both updates. Most of the people who dig my music are people who just "get it".
But the written word didn't seem enough for me as an artist. So in the last couple of days, I buried myself "in the cave" and wrote a new song.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you.
