I almost forgot about this. (I'm kind of a bonehead when it comes to the business end of things.) But this is gonna be fun again. I'm going to join Valerie Smaldone on WOR Radio again today.... and you can join me!
I was asked by Valerie to come back and do a little radio interview thing. Valerie is a woman who's voice was married for years to radio airplay of artists like James Taylor, Sheryl Crow, The Eagles and Simon & Garfunkel at the radio station called Lite FM.
Valerie at work
Now she's over at WOR Radio and I'll be here guest tomorrow LIVE between 11:00 am and noon.
So if you're not doing anything -- or if you're at work and the boss isn't looking, pop in your earbuds and listen... it's their "ONLINE" network so you can click on this banner and listen online:
Her show begins online today at 11:00
And you'll be able to call in no matter where in the country you are!

Yep. Looked at the stats and there are soooooo many of you checking in here from all across the country and different parts of the world. That is so VERY cool. But by far, most of you live right here in New York City. If you were in town and hung out with me at either of the venues I played this weekend... THANKS SO MUCH!
This past weekend... on Friday night, I played the final installment of the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series for 2010. It was just about the perfect way to play the sun down one last time thins year. This week I'll post some of the photos you guys have been sending in.
But publicist Laura Manske was at both gigs again this weekend and she had her camera out all day Saturday in Central Park.
Y'know? At the concerts at Merkin Concert Hall each year and on my albums, I get to work with the artists I love working with the most in the world -- people like George Wurzbach and Teresa Reynolds, Nelson Montana, Ryan Cavan and Dave Marcus. One of those artists , Chris Tedesco, showed up with his beautiful family... and his fiddle on Saturday!
Let's start of the week with a whole bunch of images from this past Saturday afternoon in the middle of the greatest city in the world.

Listen, I'm gonna be back tomorrow with a whole bunch of photos from Our Last Sunset. And then I'll be back with more photos from Saturday in Central Park. I'm even gonna try to get a couple of brand new videos up this week, so keep checking back okay?

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
