NEXT -- I have a Good, Good feeling today about the fact that people of Reason, open-hearted, evolved, sensible people had a tiny victory in this country yesterday. It's just a small, small step. But still, it's a Good thing.
PROP 8 WAS RULED UNCONSTITUTIONAL IN CALIFORNIA.
Rock on!
I think I gotta make this song available as today's FREE download.
Every reasonable person knows that FOX is far from a legitimate "news" organization. But I just wanted to add one little thought about that poll I highlighted yesterday.
The top 2 people named in that Gallup Poll of Republicans and their favorite presidential candidates for 2012... think that the bible is the literal "word of god" and so think they might meet Jesus before Extreme Makeover: Home Edition is canceled.
And both of them think that gay marriage is somehow.... a threat.... to... to something.
Here's Palin on Gay Marriage. (If you can make sense of this.... you're good.)
"I am, in my own, state, I have voted along with the vast majority of Alaskans who had the opportunity to vote to amend our Constitution defining marriage as between one man and one woman. I wish on a federal level that that's where we would go because I don't support gay marriage. I'm not going to be out there judging individuals, sitting in a seat of judgment telling what they can and can't do, should and should not do, but I certainly can express my own opinion here and take actions that I believe would be best for traditional marriage and that's casting my votes and speaking up for traditional marriage that, that instrument that it's the foundation of our society is that strong family and that's based on that traditional definition of marriage, so I do support that. "

And here's Blessed Mike of God:
"I'm for keeping marriage the only way it' ever been in history; and until Moses brings two stone tablets down from Brokeback Mountain that say we've changed the rules, we're going to keep it that way."

Again... for any newcomers who heard the song about "Hermione" in Central Park last weekend -- I told you that the video is a lot of fun.
The new song and music video about "Hermione..." is making it's way out there into the world. (And now it's available on itunes!) And the song about "Facebook..." is still being shared by hundreds of thousands of people worldwide. It's a very cool... very strange time in which we live!
Let's get right to the "Harry Potter" video. Seriously! When I get an idea that is this silly, this fun, this ridiculous... it just HAS to be done!
HERE'S THE SONG AND VIDEO!

Now you can download the song itself, and walk around with it in your ipod or mp3 player and sing it to yourself on the bus, in the subway, in the car... while you're on facebook.

Okay now... for anyone who's new around here... go back through the Archive and catch up a little. And here are a few videos to make you smile.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
