Life is just Life. Some days are filled with Joy, some sadness. Sometimes Life feels really hard.
It's really very cool when you get to feel like the radar is workin' fine, and your riding the wave where it wants to go, and everything in the Universe is clickin' the way it should.
I mean, this past 72 hours... not bad.
Working backwards -- last night I was up at The Stadium with a friend from "The Hill" in Central Park, watching The Yankees beat the Red Sox for the second day in a row. (The Tampa Bay Rays lost again yesterday as well. So the Yankees are sitting on top of the AL East again with the best record in baseball.)

All is well in The Baseball Universe.
The day before, Saturday, I put my guitar on my shoulder and hung out at "The Hill" in Central Park with a few thousand of my closest friends from New York City, different parts of the country and from all around the world.
.
Those of you who know me personally know that I'm always saying that I feel like the luckiest man alive. I also certainly feel like the luckiest independent artist in this town. If you were out there with me this past Saturday, will you ever be able to doubt why I say that!?

And I was joined by 2 of my favorite people to sing with... Teresa Reynolds and Dave Marcus made a surprise appearance all the way up from Maryland.

There are no words to describe the feeling of Joy that runs completely through me for days after I put so much core energy into my work, into my music, out there into the crowd on a Saturday as the direct result of all the amazingly beautiful energy that come back to me from all of you.
Thank you.
If you were there with me and you didn't see your photo, check back. I'll be posting more this week.
I wonder sometimes if my heart is big enough to take it all in. I mean, the night before that we were just getting started... playing the Sun down in the west. I got to hang out with the "below-fourteenth-street-crowd" in The Village for another installment of the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series.
There are only 3 of those left, so if you haven't made it down yet, try to get there this Friday Night.
Okay... whew!
Come back tomorrow for more photos. Click on this banner if you wanna see some photos from this Summer so far.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
