Welcome to the website!

Yes! I'll be playing the Sun down in The Village tonight. And YES... I'll be in Central Park tomorrow!

FIRST UP!

The new song about "Hermione..." is starting to travel around the planet. This week, it was played on BBC Radio in the UK by Dominic King during his drive-time show.

Very cool. You can listen to a bit of the segment here. (Funny. The British radio stations are ahead of the radio here in The States where I wrote and recorded the damned thing!!!)

You can click on this logo to listen to the segment.

.

Then you can watch the video here if you haven't seen it yet!

Seriously! When I get an idea that is this silly, this fun, this ridiculous... it just HAS to be done!

HERE'S THE SONG AND VIDEO!

Now one more thing about that song!

IT IS AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO DOWNLOAD!!!

I'm serious!

Now you can download the song itself, and walk around with it in your ipod or mp3 player and sing it to yourself on the bus, in the subway, in the car... while you're on facebook.

.

If you like this song and video, go ahead and send the link to everyone you know if you think it might make them smile.

ROCK on!!!

And if you wanna leave a comment about the song or have any questions about the video, just go ahead and leave a comment here!

TONIGHT!!!

You heading outta town for the weekend? Or are you gonna kick back and relax right here in the most amazing city on the planet for a couple of beautiful days. (Love these summer weekends in town when most of the really annoying people go to The Hamptons!)

So tonight I'm heading to The Village to hang with the below-fourteenth-street crowd. It's another installment of the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series in Hudson River Park.

. . . . . . .

The MUSIC STARTS AT 7:00 It's a very cool thing. Just take the #1 train to Christopher Street and walk west until you either see me, or you get wet, or wind up in Jersey. (I'll be hangin' out in the middle of the Hudson River at the end of Pier 45.) Gotta be a cool breeze out there!!!

ARE YOU GONNA COME OUT TO CENTRAL PARK TOMORROW AFTERNOON AND HANG WITH ME?

I think tomorrow is gonna be the best day of the weekend.

I'm gonna start playing and singin' around 1:00 like I always do and hang with you guys, until I fall over.... usually around 5:30 or 6:00. If you're not doin' anything, come on out. "The Hill" by The Lake is almost completely in the shade most of the day and there's usually a nice cool breeze blowing in Central Park.

Of course, it's always weather-permitting. But once again I have a good feeling about tomorrow. So if you're gonna stay in town this weekend, come on out and hang under a shady tree on "The Hill" or soak up some Sun.

Oh and y'know what!?

One of the finest singers I've ever been lucky enough to work with is gonna come out and sit in again tomorrow... TERESA REYNOLDS.

She's coming out to "The Hill" and she's decided to make it a regular thing for the rest of the summer. Believe me, after you spend just one song with this beautiful and talented and sweet woman, you're gonna be hooked. (It's just gonna make what I do THAT much more fun for me!)

.

Thanks for everything.

HAVE FUN WITH HERMIONE!!!!

.

PEACE

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
