Well, last night was...

OH MAN!!!!!

If you made it down to Pier 45 with me for the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series.... I hope you made it home in time!!!!!

That was the first time in 8 years of doing that gig that we got called right in the middle of it and were actually given enough time to hit the pavement and fly for home before the storms got there. Thanks to Ian Kaley for giving us the word in time.

We'll have another great night of music and laughs next Friday night!

TODAY -- not only am I putting my guitar on my back and heading out to Central Park... but I'm also gonna be joined by Teresa Reynolds and a few thousand of my closest friends from New York City, all across the country and all around the world.

.

Seriously.

It's a very cool thing to do with an afternoon. For me, it's a very cool thing to be able to do with a life.

OH YEAH! But this is one of those days that... you might be reading this early in the day because you wanna know if we're gonna be out there. The answer is YES!

But you also might be reading this later in the day because you were out there with me today and this is your first time here at the website! (Ow! My head hurts.)

Well, is you're new around here take a few minutes to browse the Archive and see what we've been up to.

Okay, back to early in the day. Like I said, today... TERESA REYNOLDS will be back at "The Hill" today. Gonna be very cool.

If you've never been out there, here's a little map that will help you find us in New York City's beautiful 843 acre backyard today.

Gonna be fun. I have a few new songs we gotta try tomorrow!!!!

.

.

Now, my "Facebook... Idiot" song is still rocketing around the world. Tens of thousands of people all around the planet are passing it around. (Must struck a chord inside a few people.)

If you haven't seen it yet...

Pass it on to all you friends. Post in anywhere you want! Now one more thing about that "facebook" song!

IT IS AVAILABLE FOR YOU TO DOWNLOAD!!!

I'm serious!

Now you can download the song itself, and walk around with it in your ipod or mp3 player and sing it to yourself on the bus, in the subway, in the car.... while you're on facebook.

Click on this link and get the song right now!!!

A note from filmmaker Dean Love...

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer.
