People have been checking in here from all over NYC and all across the country and different parts of the world for the past 10 years or so. And now, this damned thing just keeps rolling on! Very funny. Very cool.

I never thought I'd see the day that Cosmo would do a feature on me, unless it was one of those "10 Reasons Why Men are Clueless". But I certainly think it's kinda fun to be on their front page, no matter what the reason. (And yeah.... ladies. I'm semi-clueless at times!)
I just think it's cool that Zoe, who wrote the article, used the word "shmoopy"! Ah.... Seinfeld memories!
Okay...
To all my new friends in India who are passing that video around...
Oh man! I hope that's right!
(Hope I didn't just insult somebody's grandmother!)

Okay, so we're goin' through a little bit of a heatwave here in The Big Apple. But c'mon! It's Summer! That's it's job!
Still, I have a feeling it's gonna break by the weekend. Right now they're calling for a front to move through on Saturday. But personally, I think it's gonna move through with some thunderstorms a bit sooner than that.... probably Friday afternoon and night.
This past Saturday, sure it was hot for me because I'm standing in the sun for a good part of the day. but under the shade of those beautiful elm trees at "The Hill", we had a very cool time.
Just to show you hat kind of a good time we had last week and every weekend so far, here's a brand new photo gallery to which I will be adding new shots that people are sending in to the website every week. (Thanks to Sean Friedman, Mary Saliba, Jaan Lutter, Mike Lancaster and others who send in their work... especially Laura Manske!) Click to visit this year's gallery

For anyone who's new around here... go back through the Archive and catch up a little. And here are a few videos to make you smile.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
