Welcome to all of you who are checking in here from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. You've made it to the website! My name is David... but a few hundred thousand people in this town and around the world kinda know me as "That Guitar Man..."

Now, I usually update this thing every single day.
But today is a little bit different... for a couple of reasons.
The first reason is, I hadda go out of town for a couple of days. So, I'm gonna leave this update up for you until Tuesday! If you're new here, or even if you''re not, it might be fun for you to go back through the ARCHIVE and browse through all the stuff that's been happening around here for the past few years. there are lots of FREE songs to download, lots of video. All kindsa cool shit.
This past weekend, yeah, it was about a million degrees in the Sun here in New york City. But we had a very cool time at "The Hill" in Central Park. If you were out there with me I just hafta say... THANKS AGAIN!

Like I said, I'm gonna be heading out of town for a day or so.
But check back here tomorrow and Tuesday to see if I can send a cool kinda update from where I am down south.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com .
