Part of it was wonderful and new, but most of it was just a little bit blue and a little bit... BLAH!
I mean, really a big time, big ol' nuthin' day.
But today's a new day, another eternal string of fleeting but perpetual and beautiful moments. So we'll see what these moments bring!
Hey tomorrow night...
We start another season downtown.
Yeah, back down to The Village... out onto a grass-covered pier sticking out into the Hudson River to share some music and laughs while the Sun is sinking in the West.
Not a bad thing to do with an early Friday night.
THE SUNSET on the HUDSON CONCERT SERIES
.
It begins tomorrow night and runs every Friday night until the end of the Summer.
Music begins at 7:00
And listen, I know there are a lot of you who always stop by this website from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. If you're gonna be in or around New York City this weekend you might wanna stop back a little later today to see if I'm gonna be able to head out Central Park to hang with you guys this Saturday. This weekend would kinda mark the anniversary o the very first day I became "That Guitar Man from Central Park" all those years ago.
I have an email in right now to the Deputy Director of Operations to see if we can swing a an unofficial afternoon out there since I hadda be in Texas last weekend.
Check back in a little while and I'll let you know if we can hang in Central Park on Saturday.
Maybe part of yesterday's blues had to do with the ongoing bullshit I'm hearing from the news shows and some of the stupid, self-serving, hypocritical comments I'm hearing concerning the tragedy in the Gulf of Mexico.
I'm sure I'll have to write something more about this soon! I've learned in my Life that anger can be a cancer, or it can be a motivator to Good action.
Rock on!
Okay, as usual -- And here are a few more videos.
Have fun.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
