Listen... if you're new around here, make sure to bookmark this page and check back -- either later today or tomorrow. I'll be posting photos and video from this weekend all week.
But I hafta say once again... THANK YOU!
OH!!!! And I know it's kinda early to be saying this, but if you're gonna be one of those sane people who doesn't fight the traffic and mayhem to get out of the city next weekend -- if you're one of those people like me who enjoys kickin' back and relaxing and just hangin' in the greatest town on earth on holiday weekends, then you're definitely wanna make plans to be in Central Park on Saturday, July 3.
I have 2 surprises to roll out next weekend.
But again... check back a little bit later because I might be posting a whole bunch of photos of YOU GUYS out there in the park yesterday.
Seriously, at the end of the day after playing a 6-hour set... (Well, besides nearly passing out from heat stroke, the rest of it was really cool.) ...after a 6-hour set, you guys are going home all jazzed about an afternoon of music and laughs. But, I'm going home completely soaked through and through with the joy of knowing that I'm doing exactly what I'm meant to be doing.
Y'just can't beat that feeling.
Thanks again.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
