I'm heading out to Central Park. I'm gonna put my guitar on my shoulder and once again... see what happens.
.
The weather is lookin' a little unsettled. But I think we're gonna get away with one today. My feeling is we might have a couple of spectacular thunderstorms.... but not until tonight. Just gonna be kinda hot today.
And listen... "The Hill" is one of the coolest, shadiest, breeziest places in Manhattan. So I hope I see you out there. Oh sure, I'll be in the sun, evaporating like a jellyfish on a hot rock. But like the song says, " I love singin' in the Sun for you."
If you've never been out there, here's a little map to show you exactly where we are. I'll be playing from around 12:30 - until I fall over... usually around 5:30 or 6:00

WERE YOU DOWNTOWN WITH ME LAST NIGHT?
Did you play the Sun down with me at the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert last night? If you did... thanks so much for hangin'. I had a great time. I've grown to dig that gig down there on Pier 45 in The Village more and more over the years.

Oh, y'know?
I always hafta remember... many of you are checking in at this website from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. But right at this moment, many of you might be checking in after the music. Many of you are stopping by because it's later in the day and we already finished up in the park. If that's the case... be sure to bookmark this page and check back all week. I usually post some photos and video from the weekend. Maybe YOU will wind up on the site this week!
Here's a something I asked last week.
How surreal do you feel about the utter destruction of a part of our planet that's going on in the Gulf of Mexico, and the bullshit surrounding it?
You can still check out my exclusive story about the "Solar Disaster", the great sunlight spill of 2010, by clicking on this link. And I made a video a couple pf days ago when that Spiritually bankrupt, intellectually challenged phony from Alaska -- Sarah Palin of "Drill, Baby, Drill" fame... had the nerve to open her silly mouth and make a comment about the ongoing disaster in the Gulf of Mexico. You can see that by clicking here.

I've also been asking this a lot around here...
How do you feel about facebook?

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
