Had a good time meeting and speaking with Valerie Smaldone on her show yesterday. I'm looking forward to hangin' with her again and really letting her in on what goes on around here. Thanks to all of you who listened in and all of you who sent email with thoughts about another year in Central Park.
It's been an amazing journey so far, with miles to go...
Here we go... another season in this great town.
I've got so many song yet to write, so many stories to tell you guys. So in a way, I always feel like I'm just getting started.
If you missed yesterday's online interview with Valerie Smaldone of WOR you can listen to it here. I understand that an awful lot of you tried to call during the interview but the lines were jammed busy. (HEY! It was such a short spot, anyway. But... thanks!)
This week I'm gonna try to get some new video up here at the site, maybe some stuff from the last concert at The Leonard Nimoy Thalia on Broadway this past April. But I'm also gearing up for, what feels like, another return to "The Hill" in Central Park. Just haven't been able to get into the rhythm of the season in light of the ongoing, odd situation with the Permit Office this year. But keep your fingers crossed for good weather and we'll be out there on Saturday.

Hey guys, there are a lot of people checking in here from different parts of the country and different parts of the world. And I guess a lot of you are brand new here.
Okay, if you're just checking this out because you heard the show yesterday... here's some stuff we do around here.
There are different galleries.
Here... here's another for you to download for free.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
