As you're reading this I'm either on a plane to Texas, or I'm catching some music at the Kerrville Folk Festival, or I'm doing my song "RESOLUTION" in a showcase of socially conscious songs down there... or I'm flying back home.
Regardless, I'm missing you.
So, no. I'm not gonna be playing at "The Hill" in Central Park this weekend.
Listen I wanna leave you guys with something fun.
On Thursday, I took Pop up to Yankee Stadium to watch the Boys of Summer beat the Orioles to sweep the home series. Now, it was very cool... just two guys, a man and his Dad on a summer afternoon, watching baseball.
. .
But then about halfway through the game, Pop turned to me and asked me a question... a question... that I just didn't know how to answer.
I guess there comes a time in everyone's Life when a parent asks something and you just don't know the answer.
But I'll share it with all of you.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
