Just an amazing weekend of music and laughs in the middle of the greatest city in the planet!!!
Were you out there with me? If you were you might wanna check back all this week.
.
Seriously...
What a weekend! FIRST I was down on Pier 45 in Hudson River Park on Friday night for the "Sunset on the Hudson" concert series. But then on Saturday it was time to head home to "The Hill" in Central Park.
Yesterday, up to Yankee Stadium to watch The Yankees take the series from the Mets. (All even for the season. All cool. Maybe we'll see those guys in October.)
ALL THIS WEEK -- I'm gonna post photos and video here at the site.
TODAY let's start with a whole bunch of photos sent in to the website from Richard Kline and Laura Manske. Smiling faces in the crowd, just hangin' out, diggin' on the music, makin' the day up as we went along.

Pretty cool.
Thank you all.... every single person who showed up and sang with me this weekend.
TOMORROW -- come back for the VIDEO of this little guy who just showed up and created one of those "New York City Guitar Man Moments".
AND MAKE SURE YOU CHECK BACK FOR UPDATES ABOUT THE WINSTON FAN PAGE!!!!
In case you're reading this in a different part of the country or a different part of the world, or if you didn't make it out to the park this weekend, or if you happened to leave a little early... this is Winston!

He just wandered up yesterday. It's a long story. But it's a very good story. And more amazing than that, it's a very typical story -- just the kind of thing that happens every week at "The Hill" in Central Park. So check back a little bit later tonight or tomorrow and I'll have some video to let you meet this very cool little man... named Winston.
.
OKAY!!!
As usual... I'll leave the newcomers with some video and some galleries to check out. I did a new version of a new song!!! I kinda figured that the new "facebook" song was only gonna work in Central Park if I revised it from the original way it was done when it made it's debut at The Thalia Theater last month and then made it's way to YouTube.
Here's the original video.

Like I said, if you're new around here are the links for 2 galleries.
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
