I'm gonna be back ALL this week with updates about the concert the gig last night. If you were in that house, if you were in that amazingly beautiful audience all I can say is "Thanks"!
Man! We had a time, hah!?
I mean it. I'm the luckiest man alive!
George Wurzbach, Ryan Cavan, Nelson Montana and me in the core four. Teresa Reynolds bringing sooooooo much to the songs I write and sing. Chris Tedesco is one of those guys that you just get on stage when you're lucky. He's soooo damned good at what he does. These gigs would not be the same without him!
Thanks you to all of YOU in the audience, and all of you watching around the planet!!!!
Last night was wonderful on so many levels that the Universe has to build a few new levels! Hope we'll have photos and video all week.
So, here we are beginning another season in Central Park. What a life! What a ride!
Okay listen guys...
I'm heading to Central Park for the first time this year NEXT weekend. (May 8th)
Okay? I won;t be out there today. The season will start next Saturday.
If you're looking to hang out with some musiuc today, get a WiFi conenction, go sit outside in the sun, pour yourself a tall glass of iced tea or iced coffee and sit back and watch the concert from last night!
As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
