The Permit Office at the Parks Department didn't issue a permit for today.
Yes. Yeah I know. Beautiful day.
Sorry. I've got nothin' else to say about that.

Okay...
Now I might have something else I have to do today. Y'know, how I told you I shot a commercial yesterday?
Well, I know it's not a really big deal. And I was really, really grateful to get the gig. I mean, a national network TV commercial is a really cool thing. But, it turns out the client didn't want the "auto mechanic" in the spot to have any gray hair at all.
So... it was back to hair and makeup for me!
Fuck.
They dyed my damned hair for the spot... but permanently! It looks great in the spot on screen. I'm sure it works for the character. But in real life, I woke up this morning and I just look like one of those men who's afraid to have gray hair.
HOW LONG DOES THIS SHIT STAY IN!!!!!? (Or do I hafta wait 6 months to grow it out?)
Damn!
Oh well... onto some fun stuff. If you haven't done it already, copy this link:
And email it to at least 10 friends you have on facebook. Post it to your "wall". Post it to your friend's wall. I'm havin' such a blast with this song. If you wanna watch the video of the debut of this song in front of a LIVE audience, check out this video and pass it on as well!

So, how do YOU feel about facebook?
Click on the banner that falls into your bag... your feelings about facebook. Leave a little comment or a little story if you want... about your ex, about a childhood friend, about a moron, about a stalker, about a lost love that you found, about the most ridiculous thing you've ever seen posted. About whatever you want.
There will be a window that reads, "Respond to this video"
Go ahead!

And here are a few more.
Have fun.

As you may know I am producing a documentary about "That Guitar Man from Central Park". I would like to ask all David's fans out there to write me and tell me any stories you may have about David and his playing in Central Park and how it has affected you or what it has meant to you. I've already heard some great stories, but I know there are more that I haven't heard. So if you got a story to tell about David and his music, please briefly write it out and send it to stories@thatguitarman.com . I will be contacting people from the stories submitted to interview them for possible inclusion in the film. Thank you and I look forward to seeing everyone on the hill this summer. - Dean
